We purchased our "used" camper in June, got it inspected today and everything was great. We were a little worried since we never had to do that before. DH did some rewiring last night since some lights weren't working right. Guess he gets a GOLD star for a job well done.

Can't wait till next Wednesday, we're headed to Knoebels for our yearly visit. I'm so excited to use our camper and not the darn pop-up. It will be so nice not having to pack the vehicle with all our stuff and unload it once we arrive. Took too much time when your so excited to be there, let alone exhausting (packing, unpacking, repacking, etc...)

We have a countdown chain made and it's almost time....YEAH...

Congrats on your new camper. Have fun at Knoebels. I have never been, but I hope to by next summer. I live north/east of Phili and a lot of people around here make it a yearly thing to do.
Have fun!!!

It's so much fun there. You really need to go and you can also check out their website online at:

* Less than a week to go now...

I'm so glad I read this... we're headed to PA to drop off DS at Camp Woodward next weekend. Knoebel's is about 1 hour away & we were wondering if it was worth it... now I think we'll certainly give it a try.
Thanks!

Definately worth it. I like to do the sundown plan from 5-10. Ride all the rides for $20 with coasters.

Well, I'm back...unfortunately. I just love it there and hated to leave.

Wednesday and Thursday was so HOT. So glad we have a camper with an A/C now. Definately worth the extra $$ in gas. It was so much easier with a TT. Everything was already in the camper. Just leveled it and we were ready. DH was able to enjoy more of our vacation. He said that he doesn't miss the pop-up at all...neither do I.

Glad you had a good trip. We are gonna take the camper out for Labor Day for the weekend and looking very forward to it!!

wish I was at Knoebels NOW.....

We left the state of Mickey several years ago on a trip through the NE....Knoebels was the highlight of the trip....

I read the following quote on a theme park review board which stated "Disney may MAKE magic, but Knoebels IS magic!

Loved riding the Phoenix with no lines....kids must have "Frog Hopped" twenty times in a row. Loved the Rocket Slide....so simple yet so fun....can't count how many times my kids went around the little train track you "pedal" with your arms.

I can so relate...

The track with the pedals, my daughter did 5 times straight in a row. The phoenix and twister, they did about 6-8 times in a row. It's great having no wait. We also love the train ride in the dark. Absolute best.

I miss being there so much. I go through withdrawal for a whole year. We had friends come last year and they had so much fun and came back up with us this year. Now their looking forward to next year as well. There is just enough rides that you can do it all with using the sundown plan from 5-10 (not like Hershey Park - too much, steep hills, long lines, etc).

There is also some great food there. The Alamo restaurant is the best, we love the pizza place, and the funnel cakes are to die for. Cosmo's store is also so cute for the kids to shop in.

Too bad I have to wait till August 1st to camp again. The time just goes too fast while your there. We camp Wed-Sun. I'm thinking about tacking on Tuesday for next year but need to ask DH what he thinks. I'm just such a kid.

I live about 1/2 hour from there and have never been. I hear the haunted house is among the best in the nation. True?

Haunted house is AWESOME. My daughter just loves it. You really need to visit. You'll have a blast. We are about 2 hours away.
