Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam was seen by more than 8 million people this past Friday on the Disney Channel, making it the number one TV movie of 2010. On September 7, the extended version will be released on DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital Copy. There are two versions available. The first is the Extended Edition as a single disc DVD. The second is a three-disc set which includes the DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital Copy. The Digital Copy is meant for use on a portable music player such as the iPod.

The DVD includes the popular Rock Along bonus feature, which displays the lyrics to the song as the performers sing on screen. It’s a cross between karaoke and glorified subtitles. The Extended Edition also includes two new music sequences.

The Blu-Ray disc included the Rock Along bonus feature and extended scenes as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the new stars of Camp Rock and music videos from fans around the world.

There are no store exclusives, as far as I know.

Single Disc DVD Edition:

No store is offering the single disc DVD Edition for less than the three disc edition above. It would make more sense to purchase the three disc set and give the versions you don’t want/need to family or friends or resell it on eBay, Craigslist, or a similar site. Otherwise, Amazon also offers the single disc version for $17.99, which is the lowest advertised price.

I got a $6 off coupon from Disney Movie Rewards. However, I deleted it after seeing the movie. It has to be one of the worst I've seen from Disney Channel in quite a while. I won't be buying it.

yeah i thought it was pretty bad too and way too dance -y compaired to the first one...they were trying to be as big as HSM
