Britannia: Her phone rang. She answered, "Britannia's phone." Missy: Missy chuckled quietly. She replied, "Coming back yet?" Britannia: Britannia sighed. "Gordon is leaving."

Gordon: "No I'm not."

 

[Fairywings]

Amber: "Mike, can you walk over here?" She reached for her bag. "If Thora and Gordon want I can heal them too. "

Mike: "Really, you guys? You're fussing way too much."

Hope: "Well, if you just would've taken care of yourself earlier instead of being stubborn and drawing attention to yourself, we wouldn't be doing this." She dragged him over to Amber.

Steve: He murmured, "Hope is just over here laying down the line."

Bruce: "Well someone has to be responsible enough to."

 

[The Villianess]

Gordon: "No I'm not."

Britannia: "You have to go." she said. Then she put Missy on speaker.

Missy: She said, "Britannia is usually right." She felt a little too awkward.

Britannia: "You can always keep in touch, even come visit if you ever have downtime. I'll miss you."

Missy: "Just give him our phone numbers, so you guys can call each other whenever you want. You could text-"

Britannia: Britannia was grateful to have Missy on the line. She would need her friend after this.

Missy: Missy heard a long silence at the line. She assumed that they were at loss for words.

Britannia: "Please Gordon, you have to."

Gordon: "I-I can't do this." He stood, ignoring the pain, and locked himself into a supplies closet. He sat curled up on the ground, crying.

Gordon: "I don't want to see the world. I don't want to fight evil. I just want you." He cried. "I don't want to be a superhero. I just want to be me."

Mike: He didn't say anything, but with this he did not agree. It was their destiny to be heroes. It was their calling. He didn't believe in fate or destiny, but he did believe things happen for a reason. How else could he console himself for being frozen, for losing his mother and life that day?

 

[The Villianess]

Gordon: "I-I can't do this." He stood, ignoring the pain, and locked himself into a supplies closet. He sat curled up on the ground, crying.

Britannia: Britannia said, "Gordon! You can't run away from being a hero, you can't give it all up for me!"

Missy: "Um, I can't. Not a therapist, Britannia."

Britannia: "Missy!"

Missy: "Gordon, you can't give up the life of being a superhero for Britannia. Think about all the other people out there who need you. Seriously, the world would not be where they are today without the superheros."

Britannia: "Please, you will go with the other Young Avengers if you truly love me. I promise I will see you someday. Um, maybe sometime we could grab a coffee whenever you want to see me."

I can say that you are out saving the world and not many girls are as lucky to have a boyfriend who can do extrodinary things such as summoning lightning."
