camera problem for a friend

she sent me an email. Her camera is saying zoom error and will not focus or zoom. I am waiting for a reply as to what brand and model she has. Anyone have any ideas as to what would cause that?

Educated guess... Fuji or Kodak (high likelyhood of Fuji)... but could be any camera. Thats a common error code for Fuji - many other manufacturers maske the code.

Its very likely something physical (dirt, sand etc) that caused a lens jam. Disassembly and cleaning is not an easy task unfortunately.
