Hello! I was wondering if anyone who has stayed at Camelot recently would mind giving me a quick review. We are staying there over spring break and I'm just looking to ease my mind a bit as its our first time out at DL and we are normally on property people at wdw. My biggest question is I have seen conflicting information about if they serve a breakfast of any kind. Thanks!!

I just stayed there this weekend. Room was clean and fine, just an average hotel room. Nothing special. Here's a pic of ours:

We were on the 4th floor and faced the park!
They do not serve breakfast at all but there is a McDonalds right next door. We grabbed breakfast there every morning and would walk to the park while eating.

I could hear people outside in the hallway while we were in our room but it wasn't loud enough to disturb us. Although we were never in the room except to sleep so we didn't spend a whole lot of time there. It took us about 15 minutes to get from the hotel to the park gate and that included waiting for the crosswalk light and getting through security. Although we never had to wait in line at security, we sailed right through.

There is a small gift shop at the hotel too that sold drinks, snacks and souvenirs. Funny, my friend was looking for a coffee mug with Mickey AND Minnie on it. We looked all over and could only find ones that had one or the other or a group of all the main characters but never one that had only Mickey & Minnie. We stopped in the gift shop one morning on our way in and what do you know, there was a Mickey & Minnie mug in there! LOL

We thought the Camelot was fine and met our needs! Let me know if you have any other questions!

I haven't stayed at the Camelot, but we often go to McDonalds for breakfast when we are staying at a hotel without a free breakfast. Since at least last summer, there has been a 2-for-1 coupon online which is good for either breakfast sandwiches or hamburgers:

There is also a 10% off paper coupon which is available at virtually all hotels.

I stayed there about a year ago and I thought it was a good experience. In fact I would say it's now my first choice for staying off-site. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were not extra fancy but also did not feel outdated, everything seemed clean. We also had a GREAT view of the parks/fireworks from the balcony just outside our front door. We could see Matterhorn and Space Mountain well and it really got us in the Disney mood every day!

They do not serve breakfast. If you'd like a healthier alternative to McDonalds, there is a Panera nearby that just opened up.

Do they have a microwave and fridge? If they do then the OP could also bring/buy breakfast foods for quick eating before heading to the park.

Great post! We are staying there for our spring break as well! March 5th - 8th. We have stayed at their sister hotel (Tropicana) and it was a very nice stay so I am looking forward to this one!

We have stayed there the past 5 vacations to Disneyland. We like it so much, that this is now our go-to hotel. It is clean, safe, and only a short walk to the parks. They have a small fridge and microwave in the room. The rooms are pretty spacious - in fact, part of the family stayed at the Disney Paradise Pier hotel last year while we stayed at this hotel. They said that the Paradise Pier hotel rooms had a lot less space than our room over at the Camelot. I also thought that the Camelot was a closer walk over the parks than the Paradise Pier hotel.

Unfortunately, they do not serve breakfast. However, they are right next to McDonald's that is open 24 hours or you could do a Vons grocery delivery. We've had excellent experience with Vons and getting quick breakfast foods, water, and snacks delivered really saves money, instead of having to get breakfast or light snacks over at the park.

Thanks everyone!! Did you schedule the Vonns delivery for when you knew you'd be at the hotel or was the front desk willing to hold it for you?
Thanks again!!

The hotel has a rule now that they can't accept Vons delivery orders, but we scheduled a time for when we knew we would be back at the hotel during a break in the day. You can get a 1 or 2 hour delivery time frame and with your first order, delivery is free ($50 minimum purchase).

I also think they're running a special where on your first delivery, you can get a free case of water.
