Camelot, Desert Inn or new Homewood Suites?

I have rooms booked at all 3 of these hotels.

Homewood - King suite with Bunks
Camelot - King family Suite
Desert Inn - Executive Family Suite

I am totally stressing over which one to choose. Last time we stayed at the new Courtyard and it was nice, but it is $1000 more than these 3 and it is NOT worth the extra money if you ask me.

Homewood - I like that it is brand new. But I don't like that it s the furthest away (although I know you can walk to the Toy Story lot), I love that it has a kitchen because we don't like to eat out everyday for a week. I don't like that it only has one bathroom.

Camelot - Like that it is walkable, again only 1 bathroom and the area to get ready is outside the bathroom meaning the kids would be woken up. Seems the most outdated.

Desert Inn - like the layout most of the 3, like the 2 bathrooms and of course it is right across the street. But I worry about the bed reports and I will be livid if I have a bed I cannot sleep in.

So any opinions on any of these or something else I should look at? I need beds for everyone and would prefer not to cram into a room with 2 beds and a couch/bed. So that is why I was looking at these 3 hotels.

Thanks in advance for any help!

We've stayed in the Executive Family Suite at the DI&S. I like how roomy it is. Plus it's nice to have the extra room for those needing to get to sleep earlier than others. The two bathrooms was very nice at the end of the day.

As for the firmness of the beds.... At least you'd have four beds to choose from.
I like a softer bed when I have a choice and I've never found the DI&S beds too firm.

The location right at the crosswalk is premium in by book.

Good luck making your decision.

I have stayed at Camelot and Desert Inn and they remain my two favorite places to stay near DLR. Being that close is just so wonderful. I prefer soft beds, and have never had an issue with the beds at DI&S. After a long day of walking at DLR I have had no trouble sleeping!

Camelot is great as well. Clean, comfortable, and we had a great view of Matterhorn and the fireworks right outside our window/door.

Really, I think either of these options will be perfectly fine. No need to stress about it. If I had to choose between the two, I would go with the cheaper one, unless the better layout is really that much more appealing to you, in which case I would go with that. Homewood could be great as well, I just can't comment on it.

You also get a free "light snack" and drinks Mon-Thurs at Homewood I have heard you can really consider it a light supper one thing I have heard they have is some sort of nachos they also have free breakfast there IDK if the other places do or not. I haven't stayed at any of them but have Homewood booked for our upcoming trip

We will be at the Homewood Suites tomorrow. I'm super picky and will let you know how it goes. (we usually stay on site :D) We have a 2 queen suite booked.

Thanks for all the replies! I am leaning towards Desert Inn because of location and room layout. It and the Camelot are almost the exact same price. The Homewood is a little bit more.

Home wood is really nice! We got it for 141 a night and it is roomier than a normal hotel room by far. We have the 2 queen 1 bedroom suite. Elevators are working fine now (noticed some reviews mentioned that). Food is okay. Breakfast was kielbasa like sausage slices, cheese omelettes, hash browns, waffles, yogurt, hot oatmeal, orange and apple juice, donuts/Danishes/muffins, stuff to top the oatmeal/yogurt/waffles with, bananas, apples, coffee (with international delights French vanilla and sweetened regular creamer as well as half and half), hot chic mix and teas.

Asian night last night was chicken/cabbage and broccoli teriyaki, rice, rolls, lemonade, unsweetened tea, minestrone soup (I think this was part Campbell's alphabet vegetable soup), bud light and hubs thinks it was Hefeweizen on tap. Also wines.

I've stayed at a Homewood in a different city and really liked it. The room was nice and the breakfast was good. But I don't know if I'd stay at the one in Anaheim just because it's not that close to the parks. And for me, I wouldn't want to lug a toddler around on a shuttle or whatever. (If it was just myself and my husband, I'd probably consider it though.)

We stayed at the Desert Inn (parlor suite) earlier this year. The location was fantastic. The room was a bit older but not too bad. The beds...were awful. It wasn't just that they were firm. They were also lumpy. The pillows sucked too. That's really all I can complain about. We're still planning on staying there again next time. (But we might order a $25 mattress topper from amazon and have it delivered to the hotel....then just ditch it at the end of the trip.)

I stayed at the Camelot back in February of this year and had no issues with it. For the price, it was great.. nothing fancy, but clean and served the purpose of sleep after a long day at the parks. We have the Desert Inn booked for our trip in two weeks. The location was what sold it for us. Camelot didn't have any rooms available so it wasn't an option this time, but based on reviews we think the Desert Inn is a great pick.
