We are thinking of going tomorrow.
Anybody ever go? Feedback? Must do's?
Any discount codes?
Thanks to all for your input.

We went last summer. A friend had a coupon but I can't remember where they got it. It was pretty expensive for the four of us but we had a good time. You have to do a lot of uphill walking to get to the big water slides and be careful of your little ones in the wave pool, it was a very strong current. It really cleared out later in the day if you stay until closing.

We have gone to Camel Beach the last two Memorial Day weekends, and we have really enjoyed the water park. It is not as well themed as the Disney water parks, but still a ton of fun if you enjoy this type of park (we are a huge swimming family).

The best deal I have found is to buy the tickets at the Camel Beach website...4 for $100 or $25 a ticket.

It is a manageable park as far as doing all of the activities. We have found that doing things at opening (like Disney) means the shortest lines. Not sure the make up of your party (our kids are 3, 7, 12, and 13). The older three love the Vortex Spin Cycle and the Flow Rider.

The other poster is correct that some of the climbing is steep, so it is a tiring day. Something fun and relaxing to do is to ride the ski lift to the top of the mountain - we always go into the little snack place and cool off with an ice cream while enjoying the lovely mountain view.

Have fun!

A discount code for Camelbeach for 2012 (June 15-August 15) is GILEAD12. It will make a general admission ticket $26 if you purchase it online.

Costco sells tickets as well- I think they were $26? All I know is that I thought this would make a trip there a possibility for dd's birthday. It's a TON of hill walking so make sure you are up for that.

The climbing area gets pretty crowded- And it's rather far away from the big slides- so depending on your age group location is key. Check out the online map and know where you want to sit.

Have fun. I like it. I think it's clean and I love that they keep adding new things every year.

We usually go every year!
The key is to get there early so you can get a good parking spot!
We pack a lunch and then go back to van to eat it as the food is expensive and just ok. Hit the slides that hold multiple riders first, as those lines get the longest. The flowrider line gets long too. Save the wavepool and Pharaohs Fortress for later in the day.
They have big and small locker rentals. The admission also includes a ride on the ski lift up and down the mountain.

There is a Friendly's restaurant down the road, sometimes we eat there after a long day at CB. When you leave CB turn left at the light(outlets will be on your left) then right at the next light and it will be on your righthand side a mile or so down the road.
