First, the good news. Finished my first Half Marathon in 1.58:44
This 37 yo mom of 4 was super excited!! My DH rocked it as well...1.54:10
On the downside, I have a yucky foot. It was bothering me last week after my last training run and yoga, but it "looked" fine ie: not swollen or bruised. It hurt like a bruise when I put pressure on it but otherwise didn't hurt to touch or move. So, I sucked it up, taped it up and hit the pavement. After mile 4, the pain was pretty much gone.
Now, it is pretty swollen but still doesn't really hurt. Mostly feels tight on the outside. I hope this goes away fast as the Princess is right around the corner.
Hope everyone had a great race!!!!
