Cam & Howard's Vow Renewal PJ -1/12/09 - WP&WH--p.98: TRIP REPORT BEGINS

Right off the bat I have to ask...what's wrong with wearing a crown??? :goodvibes

Are you bringing them this weekend? I can take pictures. ;)

Having said that...I think - THINK - I like #2 better. But I'd have to see them on.

ooh its a tough one, my 1st instinct was no 1 *** it reminded me of mine! but then when i looked at your beautiful necklace no 2 seems to go better with that!
They're both beautiful....have both ;)

I like the look of the second one best, Cam. I am sure both will look beautiful with your seriously gorgeous necklace though!!! :lovestruc

Thank you, Judy, AB08, Tracey & Lisa! I feel badly about buying one and not wearing it but I'll either pass it along to another bride or hold it until Jenn's turn comes along. ;) The great thing is that together they cost less than $50 and the least expensive one that I tried and liked at the Demetrios salon was $300 plus tax. Gorgeous and definitely worthwhile if it is going to be a family heirloom, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy it.

Yes, Judy, I am bringing both this weekend to show to Ana when she does my hair trial. Should I also bring the necklace and earrings so that you can see them together?

Aw, Cam... I find I only have nightmares about the trip. Rob actually has the wedding nightmares. I always dream we've been at Disney World for a day, and we missed all our ADRs. Leave it to me to worry about food! :)

I like both the tiaras, so I'm no help there!

Jen -- I am so Italian! You see how I was worried about whether there was enough food for everyone!

Okay, I just took the leap and talked with Stan to arrange for videography for the ceremony and reception. :yay: When all was said and done, I just couldn't resist going with his company, since I've loved all the sneak peeks and I know that he and Randy work so well together. I am really excited about knowing he'll capture everything going on around us when Howard and I are totally wrapped up in each other.

I like tiara #2! Very pretty!!

WOW that cricut machine looks awesome! Those tags are soo cute! I love them! Everything looks great!

Sorry for the family drama, it never ends does it.

Hi, everyone! Thank you so much for your advice on the tiaras. I did decide to go with #2 and when I did my hair and makeup trial with Ana & Lily this weekend, we all decided it was a great choice.

So, I am back from my 3 day weekend at WDW and it was absolutely fabulous! I accomplished so much, even though Howard couldn't go with me. I think we are in a position now to finalize the BEO with our menu and beverage and linen choices, so that is a huge relief! :thumbsup2 Meri was so patient and sweet as I pondered 5 shades of pink and considered some yellow. Most importantly, she always makes me feel like my questions are no trouble at all, and she has some really creative ideas that make me think outside the box. :goodvibes Every encounter with her or her assistant Alix makes me feel so comfortable and reassured, thank God!

I also got all the shopping done for things I needed for our welcome bags at World of Disney. The concierge desk at the Grand Floridian was beyond fabulous. Rishaun (who I think is in management at GF) and Faith (at the concierge desk) were so genuinely enthusiastic and sweet and helpful. I walked out of there with the maps of each of the parks that I needed, as well as resort maps for our guests. :cloud9: So, I was able to put the park maps in our Owner's Locker and I brough the GF maps home to embellish with some hopefully not too hidden Mickeys to show our guests where each of our events is. :yay:

Another major accomplishment is that, with the help of my friend Judy, I was able to do a test run down the aisle at the WP to see if the music I want to use would be a good choice, and how much of it I have to excerpt and burn to a disk to be played for the bridal processional. What an absolutely WONDERFUL time I had accomplishing all of those things!

Back later with hair and makeup trial report and pix.

Cam--your trip sounds absolutley fabulous! Looks as if you and Judy managed to stay out of trouble! Can't wait to see pics

Wow, Cam, sounds like you had a great trip! It's so wonderful that you have a very patient and kind coordinator. I'm always afraid of coordinators barreling people over with their opinions.

Thank you, Stephanie! I am putting together the Ana/Lily report, but I keep getting teared up. I can't believe how they made me feel like a star and look like a princess. And that is not ego speaking, just kudos to the miracles they worked! :lmao: Oh, and BTW, Judy and I had the greatest time and didn't have to get into any trouble at all to have fun! ;)

Jen -- It's funny you say that -- I have to urge Meri to express her opinions. She is just such a sweetheart and wants her brides to be happy and keeps saying that they can do anything I want and I have to practically beg her to tell me what she has seen that has worked and what hasn't worked. Adorable. She is completely sweet and kind and outrageously efficient and organized. We are soooo lucky we were "assigned" to her. That was some serious pixiedust:

Forgot to mention that the salon called last night and my bolero is in!!! :faint: So, I can go see my dress & jacket any time. I made an appointment for 9/27 because it is the first day that my friend Marie and I can both get there. I don't know how I will hold out that long!

That is exciting:goodvibes ... can you manage to wait until the 20TH? It sounds like you had a fantastic weekend with a wonderful hair and make up trial...looking forward to hearing more!!!:goodvibes

Back later with hair and makeup trial report and pix.

Cam, HELLOOOOOO!!!! You've got to get those awesome pictures online so everyone can see how absolutely stunning you look!!!! (but Howard isnt' allowed to look, right???)

It was so fun meet Judy and to see you right after your hair and make up trial!!!

We are running tomorrow, right??? (you'll have to go really slow while I catch up, lol).

Thanks, Tammy! It is hard to wait but the anticipation is fun, too.

Patty -- Thank you so much! I am definitely going to post pictures. And Howard has seen them already, so no worries there. The only thing he wants to be completely surprised about is the dress, so it has actually been fun to share all my other "finds" with him. :lovestruc

BTW, I haven't run since last Wednesday AND, as punishment for all my indulgences in WDW, I did an hour on the elliptical last night (at levels ranging from 2-9  ) AND personal training this morning (including squats -OUCH!!) and 40 minutes on the bike. :faint: Believe me, honey, you won't have ANY problem keeping up with me. LOL!
