Cam & Howard's Vow Renewal PJ -1/12/09 - WP&WH--p.98: TRIP REPORT BEGINS

Both tiaras are beautiful. I think the second one looks more princessy but the top one does look like it has more sparkle or "bling" to it!

Cam these are both beautiful tiaras and either would look gorgeous. If pushed to choose I would say #2 as it's really unusual and regal looking

Oh, I love both of your tiara choices! I have a slight preference for the second one because it is more sparkly and more princessy. Every girl should be a princess!

Oh Cam! I love the second tiara! It's so princessy. princess: And my "fashionable" DD LOVES Jenn's earrings! :lovestruc

Kristen

I love you always forever :flower3: :lovestruc :cloud9:

(verse 1)
Feels like I'm standing in a timeless dream
Of light mists, of pale amber rose
Feels like I'm lost in a deep cloud of heavenly scent
Touching, discovering you

(verse 2)
Those days of warm rain come rushing back to me
Miles of windless summer nights
Secret moments shared within the heat of the afternoon
Out of the stilness, soft spoken words
(say it, say it again)

(chorus)
I love you always forever
Near or far, closer together
Everywhere I will be with you
Everything I will do for you

(chorus)

You've got the most unbelievable blue (BROWN) eyes Ive ever seen
You've got me almost melting away
As we lay there
Under a blue sky with pure white stars
Exotic sweetness, a magical time
(say it, say it again)

(chorus 2x)

(bridge)
Say you'll love and love me forever
Never stop, never whatever
Near and far and always everywhere and every(thing)

(bridge 3x)

(chorus to fade)

PS: I like the second one best too. I can't wait to see them with THE gown. :faint:

I like the second one best; it's very delicate looking and will just be perfect on you with "the" dress. Of course, the decision will have to be when you can actually see them together, but I always have to voice an opinion.

Here is the necklace I found and wore to a wedding last week. I got a lot of compliments on it, and I think it is really sweet.

And these are the earrings I won tonight on ebay! (a DISBride's best friend, to quote one of my buddies here! ) It's mostly regular swarovski crystals, but has four that have the aurora borealis coating.

What do you think?

Thanks, everyone! I fell in love with the second one, but the first style looked a bit better when I tried them on at the salon. The second one is more suited to the delicate styling on the skirt of the dress and I am leaning toward it. I may end up taking both when I go to order the dress, so that I can see how each looks with it.

Thanks, Kristen! I sent Jenn the link to the auction before I bid on the earrings and she really liked them. I was so happy that I was able to get them on a buy it now. I thought she might like to take them when she looks at dresses and the various colors. I am hoping she might like to at least look when she is home on spring break the week after next. I know she'll want to wait to order something, though, because she is doing so well with training for the half marathon that she has already lost a significant amount of weight. I am so proud of her for training while keeping up with her classes and all her other commitments!

I am so happy that you shared your opinion! Everyone who posts here helps me so much when I am uncertain about various decisions! It makes it so much fun, too! Every step of the way is so exciting! :cutie:

I meant to comment on the song Howard posted. I want that one for our cake cutting. What do you think? I'd like the DJ to start it when we get up to go to the cake table and then just let it play through.

Cam!!!! Love the second tiara!!!!!!It's made for a princess!!!!

LOVE LOVE the jewellery!!!!!!!!!!!

Howard bought me the most exquisite swarovski necklace today. It is incredible. It sparkles so much, it looks like there must be an electric current flashing lights through it. I absolutely cannot believe he insisted THIS is the necklace I am wearing with my gown. It has every shape crystal I love -- bezel solitaire, teardrop, oval, princess & heart shape! The hearts are just so sweet and gorgeous!

The picture just cannot do it justice. This necklace is breath-taking. I kept pulling the box out to look at it, first in the restaurant where we ate lunch and later throughout the long car ride home.

Oh, everything is looking just so beautiful! Keep up the good work and try not to worry too much about the timeline...take it in babysteps, one thing at a time. Us ladies drive ourselves crazy and truly have so much to handle. As long as you are attempting to get something done (and not procrastinating) - even if that 'something' happens to be relaxing - its a good thing. And enjoy yourself while your at it!

Thanks! I really wish I could get a better picture of it. The little piece in the middle is an extender that drops it a bit lower. :lovestruc

Cam - the necklace Howard bought you is lovely. It's so beautiful. Nice job Howard :thumbsup2

Thank you, Laura!

Okay, Howard took some pix of the necklace for you all to see. Here it is:

Dear Cam,
I am a frequent lurker on your TR. I love your story! I would love to have a VR in WDW for our 20th anniversary in 5 years. My DH and I will be going back next year BY OURSELVES to AKL for the first time as we are new DVC members! I'm so excited!!!

DH is considering the VR. Help me talk him into it!!!

I look forward to reading about your VR in the coming months and see what ideas I can steal from you!:lmao:

BTW...your husband is so sweet and thoughtful! I LOVE the "bling-bling!" If you look closely, the oval shaped crystals with the smaller ones on eithier side look like MICKEY HEADS!!!!!

First of all -- WELCOME HOME!! :welcome: Woohoo on the new DVC membership! :woohoo: You are going to be so glad you joined. We have reserved a studio for 5 nights and a 2BR for 4 nights for the four of us and my DMIL and DSIL for the whole wedding weekend, and we could NOT have provided those accommodations without DVC! Enjoy!

Next, enjoy your first trip sans kids! We did this for the first time in 1996 and have made many adults-only trips since then. It is an entirely different and outrageously enjoyable experience, even without the joy of sharing it with kids.

I really hope you can persuade DH to do a VR. It took a lot for me to get past spending money on ourselves, but we are doing it as inexpensively as possible as far as the day and time, but didn't skimp on things that are really important to us like the date and locations and our food and entertainment choices. We have turned it into a huge party for our family and friends and it means SO MUCH more planning it now when I think of making everything special for the people we love.

I am so glad you noticed the "hidden mickeys" -- I did too and pointed them out to Howard, even though the middle stone is oval. I think it is still very close and very sweet! I just LOVE ::MickeyMo
