really sucks! Static lights put up for the sake of being put up.

I mean like once you've been Disney-fied, displays like the one at City Hall are just bush league! Like where are the moving lights and fireworks ? Where's the lively music? Where's Mickey?

Oh man. It's going to be a long winter!

LOL I so totally agree! Lights here just don't have the same magical feeling!

There are fireworks every Saturday night at 8:00 pm off of the roof of City Hall (new) in December. I saw them last year from the Sheraton Centre and they are fabulous. This Saturday Serena Ryder is singing at 7:00 pm followed by the fireworks at 8:00 pm. Afterward there is a skating party with a DJ.

It's a bit unfair to compare Toronto's Cavalcade of Lights to anything at Disney World. Where do you think the money for this is coming from?
