We will be at USF/IOA in just a couple of weeks. :cool1: I have been working hard with my diet and have lost 12# over the last few months. I know I'll be walking about 4-6 miles per day in the parks, but I still want to be able to track my calories. I can't find calorie counts for any of the eateries.

We'll be eating mostly CS, with breakfast at the condo. Is there anyplace with calorie counts for at least the most popular items?

And yes, I know it's vacation, but I absolutely do not want to undo 2.5 months of hard work by ignoring what goes into my mouth.

Good luck with that! I don't believe I've seen calorie counts.

since you have been calorie counting for your diet, you'll know how many calories are in most foods you eat at UO.

bread/rolls....
hamburgers or meat......
fries, sides.......

you will probably be able to judge the meats by their size.
add an additional 50 calories to what you think the foods are so you won't be over the amount of calories you normally consume each meal.

if you under estimated the amount of calories in the foods you consume, and the clothes feel tighter, then try for less on snacks or avoid heavier meals.

it will be hot when you are there in a couple of weeks.
you might not eat as much due to the heat.
hot weather can curb an appetite.

hopefully you will be fine and come back from your vacation pounds lighter!
i wish you the best.

I wondered if that was what I'd have to do, MacRaven. If that's how it is, then I'll try. It's just that some things vary *so* much from place to place, it won't be super easy.

Try asking at the resteraunt they might have nutrition info for their food.

on some trips i do the calorie counting too.
i know the basics for what i usually eat.
i do check the menus out before my trip and if i am not sure of the amount of calories, i google it while still at home.

i stay away from soda and only drink water or black coffee.

there are some cs places that are easy to figure out.
Blondies, Boulangerie, Louie's, Richters, etc. (hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken, fudge, popcorn, deli sandwiches, pot salad, cheescake, etc)

my fall trip is for 18 days.
if i struggle to get the top button on my shorts to close, then i really watch what i am eating.....

Don't worry about calories, just eat what you want then run for Hulk. When you get off you might leave all the calories in the bathroom.:lmao:

Actually, I'm a roller coaster junkie and think I'd be ok on the Hulk. I won't really get a chance to do that though, as Mom is a ride-wimp and so are my kids. Sometimes I wonder if we're even related...

I am giving serious consideration to the single rider line if I can get the rest of them to sit down and have a drink or some ice cream. I might do that with DD as well, if the line looks short enough.

There is an arcade across the street from the Hulk. Send the coaster wimps in there & do the singles line. The Hulk is worth it!
