Are the rooms at the Dolphin renovated with the Heavenly Beds yet? I understood that they would be. We can get the Dolphin for $130 per night or the Swan at $144 per night..... would prefer the Dolphin generally but want the Heavenly Beds. Any thoughts??

These rates are from Expedia.com by the way - no entertainment or other discount card required.

When are you going? The Dolphin has just started rennovation from what I understand.

Wanting to go in late August of this year. Anyone know if any rooms at the Dolphin will have the Heavenly Beds? If not, I might stick with the Swan at the slightly higher rate.

The Swan is branded as a Westin which has the beds, the Dolphin is branded as a Shearton. Overall I don't think SHeartons are getting these beds.

I was just there and not all the rooms have been renovated. The Dolphin is supposed to get beds that are like the heavenly beds but they are called something else. The Swan is completely renovated from what I know. We were quite please with our room and the beds were very cushy, comfy! You can't go wrong with either choice.
Steph.

The Dolphin is getting the Sweet Sleeper, very similar to the Heavenly Bed. The renovations are not suppose to be complete until the first quarter of 2004. We will be at the Dolphin in Dec and have a Jr. Suite reserved on an upper floor. I am hoping they have some renovated suites complete by then on the upper floors. I will have to wait and see!

We were just at the Swan earlier in the week and loved the Heavenly Beds! The Dolphin is just starting their renovations and the cast member I spoke to at the Swan said the Dolphin wouldn't be complete until 2004. If you really want the Heavenly Bed, I would stick with the Swan.

Wow, I checked Expedia to see if I could get a better rate than what I have and it came to $248/night. Makes me worry that October is going to be really busy. Luckily I already got a $147 AP rate.
