Calling HH Experts

We took our first trip "home" to VWL in May (wonderful). Now I'm thinking of going to Hilton Head next year (Week before Memorial Day) Would I have problems booking 7 months out? How many days would be appropriate for a 1st timer? Originally, I was thinking of 4 nights (which would give us 3 1/2 days there). Should I add another night? I will have my teenage son and his best friend with me. Will there be plenty of activities for them? Of course, I'm also planning another WDW trip next summer as well! Thanks for the input!!!!!!!

I'd add the extra night if you can. HH is more of a laid back place but there are activities. There's bike riding, dolphin excursions, kayaking, crabbing, fishing, golf, mini golf, the beach, pool and others. But no theme parks, water parks or anything along those lines.
