Wednesday is the first day I can start calling for Royal table reservations. I have read all I can on how to get through. When I went over the 'tips' it was stated you do not have to press 1 after the greeting. I did a trial run today and after I dialed was asked to press 1 or hold on the line for PS for different places, not Cindys.

Which is it? Do I press 1 or just hold? This could make the difference between getting the PS or not.

Anybody get a PS for Cinderellas table and if so did you press 1?!

Please help.

I, too, will be making"the call" soon. Thought I'd jump on your bandwagon and find out how to do it. Good luck!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. And hopefully someone can answer your question. pam

Hi there...

I started calling just before 7:00am (6:58am) and the tape said "thank you for calling disney dining our hours are 7:00am to blah blah blah.. so I hung up and called back -

Then right at 7:00am the message changed to "thank you for calling Disney Dining.. for dining reservations press 1. I pressed 1 and was put on hold at this point - no one came on the line - just music - so I hung up and called back

This time as soon as I heard the voice I pounded 1 - and got a live person right away.

Make sure you don't humm and haw when you get your person..

clearly state - Breakfast with Cinderella/ 4 people/ August whatever - interrupt them if you have to :) after they get the space then you can be all friendly and chatty.

Good Luck,

I believe my mother was able to get into the calling queue about 20 minutes before 7AM. You might give a trial run the night before and ask them how to do it. They might not be able to specifically tell you but some will answer "yes" or "no" questions about it. Good luck!! And from prior experience---if you miss it just keep calling because you may get a good cancellation even a couple of weeks out.

After spending a sleepless night waiting to call in. I started calling at 6:57 and hit redial about 7 times before the message changed. Then I pushed 1 and immediately got a live person.

I did say "Good Morning" and then blurted out my request. I actually got my pick of times. I was so floored when asked what time I wanted. I picked 10:00 so we could enjoy the early entry and then have a late breakfast.

This was the most important part, according to my daughter, of the entire trip. I haven't told her about the PS and I am hoping to keep it a secret until that day. So far I have kept the secret for 7 hours. I don't think I will last much longer!!!

Good luck to anyone trying for Cindy's Castle!!!!!!

YAY! firstime ~ congratulations :)

I was thinking about you today and wondering if you had pixie dust. Good Luck keeping the "secret"

I was able to get through on the first try today, too. FWIW, Disney's reservation system seems to be about 20 seconds behind official U.S. time. I'm sure they update their clocks periodically, but this info may be helpful for anyone calling in the next few days.

For the official U.S. gov't time, see http:www.time.gov.

Congrats on getting your CRT PS! You'll have a great time and that's one big load off your mind

For the record I had called two days in a row (a few weeks ago). The first day I got the "thank you for calling disney dining..." recording at 6:58 and the second day I got that recording at 7:02! (both days I started dialing at 6:57). I didn't dial "1" either time. I did end up getting PS on both days (cancelled the first one). I just got my phone bill, I redialed 16 TIMES on the 2nd morning!! YIKES!!! I think I redialed twice the first morning.

But, I don't think it's worth calling much earlier than that. Until you get the "opened" message that thanks you for calling Disney Dining, you have to keep redialing. Doing that for 15-20 minutes will definitely cost a lot and not get you through any quicker.

I've done this several times now and have found calling prior to 6:57 is a waste of time and money.
