Calling all YC/BC resort experts !!!!

I just made my ressies for my Oct. 2005 trip with a split stay between the Polynesian and Yacht Club. I originally wanted the BC but there are no more AAA discounts available for a standard room. Just wondering if I should keep calling hoping for a BC cancellation or is the YC as nice ? Also wondering if the walk to Epcot is alot longer being on the other side of the YC/BC resort area than if we were walking to Epcot. I am traveling with my DDs who are 9 and 12 and I know they will just love SAB.

well, I have stayed at both and YC is my favorite!!! The differences I saw were, not all the rooms in the BC have queen beds, even in the conceirge. some have full size...if that matters to you. also I found that all the rooms in the YC have a balcony wear not all of them have them in the BC. I also found some rooms to be smallerr in the BC. The walk is not that much of a difference at all. The views from Pool side are also better! I think you made the right chose!!!! enjoy

I haven't stayed in the YC, though I've toured it, and it's just as lovely as the BC, IMO. I'm sure you'll be happy with it!

Thanks for your input !!!!! It sounds like the YC is as nice as the BC. What a coincidence we are all from Mass. GO PATS and RED Sox. Dreaming of warm weather again......... and being at the "World"........

I've stayed at both and while I would not turn down a trip to the BC, I much prefer the YC. The walk is not that much longer and it's closer to the dock where you pick up the boat to Disney's MGM Studios. I LOVE the balconies at YC!!
