Hi Everyone-

Just checking in to see how things are going! I've eaten clean for 8 days now- I so need to update my journal, but I do have it all written down. I don't know why I can't wrap my head around exercise just yet. I'm feeling good though - the one thing about clean eating is I have to eat 5-6 times a day and after the first couple of days you don't crave anything anymore so I actually have to remind myself to eat! Never thought that would happen!

Gotta run and pack my cooler for the day - How's everyone else doing this week?

I'll be the first to start on this thread. My weight loss has sort of stalled this week, but I did get good news. Last Oct I had blood work done that showed I had high cholesterol- total 232. We (my DH and I) started our jogging routine in Jan and I'm trying to watch my diet so I figured it was high time to recheck blood work and see how things were going. Well, apparently even though the scale isn't moving, something is going right because my total cholesterol is now down to 175 :cool1: . It gave me some motivation to keep going even if I can't physically see the results, something is clearly happening....

That is awesome!:thumbsup2 See!!! There really are OTHER measurements of progress other than the scale.Way to go!!!!!!

But since my checkup isn't scheduled to the end of the year I'll have to be satisfied with the fact I dropped 2 pounds this week! :cool1: A total of 9 since Easter (but I've been only half-hearted most of that time, it's nose to the grindstone now).

I keep telling dh one more pound and I will have lost our cat!:cat:

I've eaten fairly poorly over the past few days I'm sorry to admit. I've been too scared to even step on the scale for three days, but on Mon I'm back to the straight and narrow...

On the up side, I ran in the Philadelphia Distance Run today- a half marathon and feel pretty good, so at least I'm exercising.

Hi, I'm Karyn! I'm 4'11'' and need to lose 20 pounds. I have been stuck at the same weight for 2 years. I did Nutrisystem for 4 weeks, and lost some weight, but my DH did the same program, ate MORE food than I did everyday, and lost 3 times as much. It just stinks sometimes. I am 33 years old, and going through menopause right now, so that doesn't help AT ALL. I walk for 45 minutes to an hour almost every single evening. You would think that the weight would just fall off of me! I have kept off the Nutrisystem weight, but it's so hard. You can't deprive yourself of EVERYTHING. I love to eat, but it's gotten to where eating is not enjoyable anymore (if that makes any sense). I can't eat for worrying about if my jeans will fit the next day or how long it will take to lose the pound that I gained from a great meal out. :sad2: I'm tired of trying to lose weight, but I'll stick with it. :thumbsup2

Had some ice cream today, but healthy other than that....looking forward to a healthy week!

My clean eating got a little dirty this weekend- DH bought me Ms. Meringue cookies, and the whole box was gone in 4 days!

But I'm back this week!!! I just need a bite from the exercise bug! I don't know why I STILL haven't found the motivation to work out!

Hi I'm 5'2" and 195lbs at 41years old. I wear a tight size 14! I need this support group! I've lost 5lbs within the last 2 weeks. The only thing I have done so far is cut out sodas. Still drinking sweet tea though. It will take a while to get rid of that. I'm gradually using less sugar. I am drinking more water, it seems that room temp water is easier to drink. I'm also having a hard time getting motivated for exercise. I have a treadmill I get on occassionally, but need to do more! The walking is not so bad, but its kinda hard to jog or do aerobics with large breast!!:scared1: Some good advice on fitness bras would be very appreciated. After my weightloss i'm planning on getting a reduction and lift. Its something i have wanted for a long time. The doctors advise weightloss before the surgery so i really want to do this. Good luck to everyone. I'll let you know how everything is going!!!:woohoo:

Same as me. I have quite a few workout DVDs and a jogging stroller that dh got me but I never seem to find the time to work out. Let me amend that...I never make the time to workout. :guilty:

I have the large breast thing too. So far I haven't found a jogging bra that works; they still bounce everywhere and it doesn't feel good as you know. Someday I'll get a lift but not until after I finish having children.
Ah, exercise motivation. I don't have any so I can't share. I need to get some.
As for drinking soda, I drink cherry coke zero. Tastes just like cherry coke and no calories, no fat, no sugar!

I have the invisible breast problem. I stuff LOL. i think im gonna blow my diet today cause im worried. I hate trying to stay on a diet, worry and not eat my normal foods :(

You can have some of my fat and give it to your stubborn chest.

Don't blow it...you can do it. What kind of diet are you doing?
