We are heading to Disney the second week of May, and I know it will be hot... but will we need jackets at night. Any other helpful tips for this time of year that you can share will be appreciated!!!

We were there last year second week of May. It never rained, each day was in the 80's and never needed a jacket at night. Going back this year end of May into June. Hope weather is the same.

May is beautiful! We never used jackets. It was always sunny and in the 80's during the day and 70's at night. Have fun.

We were there May 8-14, 2003 and it was at least 95 everyday. I brought jackets but we never needed them. I think the temperature at night was still in the low 80's. All tthe CM's we talked to about the temp. said that it was hotter than usual for that time of year. There was not a drop of rain so at least we were lucky with that. Hope your weather is a little cooler.

We always go in May and we have never needed jackets. I always bring something light for the dd's incase the air conditioning is to much. Let's just say they have never worn them. I have given up and not carry nothing. In 2003 the temps were very hot (90's) and 2004 they were still hot just not as hot(85-90). The crowds in the past have been quite bearable, however, this May is the 50th Celebration kick off. At this point I am hoping for the crowds to be the same. The 50th celebration is going on all year so hopefully people won't be rushing to the world. Another thing is Mother's Day is on May 8 so PS's might be tough that day. I have posted on several boards asking about the park crowds on that day. Most have come back saying not to bad. If there is anything else I can help you with let me know.

At Coronado Springs 2nd week of May 2004 ... no rain ... very warm .. no need for jackets ... a little warm for a northern girl, but not bad at all ... very enjoyable!

11th year in a row for us for May. As the others say, no jacket. However, I do take a sweater for the cold restraurants. I also pack the rain pouchos, sometimes we get those mid-day showers, but they end quickly. It can get pretty hot in May, so pack the sunscreen and hats. The top of my head always burns in May.

You won't need your jackets... summer starts in April here, and lasts until November. If it gets below 70 at night, it would be totally out of the ordinary!!! Enjoy!

Save the room in your suitcase, and bring more sunscreen instead- you'll need it!

We've been the past two years at the end of May and never needed jackets, sometimes even a t-shirt was too hot, sleeveless would've been much better. We did take the dollar store rain ponchos for DD's when we went to Fantasmic. The first year we went they were cold from the mist falling back on them. With the Dollar Store ponchos they stayed dry and warm then we just tossed them in the trash on the way out.

Have fun!
