Calling all Lord of the Rings fans!

No Moria?? ;)

I can see a ride just like the end of the Jurassic ride where an enormous Gandalf yells out (instead of the T-rex), "YOU SHALL NOT PASS"! :rotfl2:

Marquibiri :thumbsup2

Pretty cool idea!!

I was including Moria (at least in my mind) as part of a ride that starts out in Hobbitton. It would be cool to ride through Frodo's journey and when you do meet the Balrog in Moria the ride speeds up a little to try to escape from him. I imagined you feel the heat from the Balrog, you do see the scene with him and Gandalf on the bridge and when Moria starts to fall apart, your ride vehicle shakes you up like Dinosaur or the Indy ride does as you're trying to escape the Mines. Yup, I imagine quite a bit. In my spare time, I'm always coming up with new attractions and ride concepts. I need help I know. :3dglasses

I would like something along the lines of pirates of the carribean or haunted mansion. They already have a lot like spiderman, simpsons. Themed as a journey as Disney padawan stated. I would love to see Rivendale. I think a whole them park could be done.

It would be nice for UO to have a ride the whole family could ride on together.

Dear OP:goodvibes
You have reminded me it is time for the trilogy watching again.
I need my LOR fix. :goodvibes
Thanks!

Your welcome! :thumbsup2

I just got done with the trilogy by myself a few days ago and just today my fiancée asked to see them with me so here I go again. We just got done with The Fellowship of the Ring. We only watch the extended versions so I'm in for another long haul. :upsidedow

My wife and I try for a LOTR EE marathon each year. We make some spiced wine, sourdough bread, cheese, meats, and good german beer. Alas, we usually play some version of a LOTR drinking game, which inevitably leads to our passing out somewhere in the middle of TT :)

Hopefully the EE blu-rays come out for x-mas this year. Can't go back to the theatrical cuts anymore, despite it trimming 2-3 hours from the marathon.

Your post made me LOL! :rotfl2:

Rumor has it that it will be available next spring. Supposedly, they're cleaning up the extra footage and adding more? Not sure how reliable these sources are but 2 people have told me this. I really hope it's out by Christmas too. :thumbsup2
