Calling all kid cruisers on Dec. 5, 2009 cruise to St. Croix

My daughter Kayley is also looking foward to meeting new friends. She will be eight on Halloween. Would love to start writing and make friends.

Welcome! My girls can't wait to meet new friends. It takes my youngest one a little more time to warm up to people. Only 9 months to go!!!!

We moved our ressie today to this cruise. I have an eight year old son (Matt) who is SOOO excited. Last time we were on DCL he was 3 1/2. He cannot wait to get to the kids club activities!

That's funny. We run into people at WDW, or people taking the Disney bus to Port Canaveral. We hear lots of first time cruiser-kids saying they WILL NOT go to the programmed events. We here this for a while ... when waiting to board, and even inside the terminal. Then, that very first night on the ship ... we'll see parents trying to LITERALLY drag their kids out of the programs, to get them to go to dinner together.

Did you hear about the Disney DINE & DASH (I think that was the name of it) program? For kids that are signed up in a Disney program, they are able to join Mom & Dad for dinner ... then ... @ 45 minutes into dinner, a program director will stop by each restaurant, to escort the little ones back to the programs - if interested. Thsi worked out fairly well on our last Disney Cruise (April/May 2009, Easter Caribbean / Tortola).

Enjoy!

Hi!

We cruised the Western caribbean 7-night back in 2005 with cousins. This time it will be just our family of 3. My daugter, Jessica, is worried about not knowing any kids on board. She'd love to get to know some of you.

Fluvanna and Jessica
looking forward to cruising soon!:cool1::princess:

Our daughters, Julia (9) and Olivia (4) will be going on this cruise. We have not told them yet, so they cannot post their own messages yet. Julia has been on a few cruises, but no Disney ones. Olivia has never cruised before.

I know they will be thrilled to meet you all.

Amy

From Julia, age 9:
Me and Livy are very excited about going on the trip. My sister is obsessed with the number 65, so that's one of the reasons our parents told us 65 days before the trip. I LOVE Mickey Mouse stuff.

I can't wait for the cruise. I might have dreams about actually being on the ship. I hope I do. I don't believe we're going right before Christmas :santa:, it's so cool. Does anybody like origami? I love origami, except I don't know how to make very many things. I also like playing the piano. I'm pretty good at it. I like doing gymnastics.

My favorite foods are cheese quesadillas, chocolate chip cookies, and hot dogs.

:cheer2:

Hi, my name is Catrina. I am 9 years old and in 4th grade. I live in the prairie of Minnesota. This is my 3rd cruise:yay:. My favorite parts of the cruise are going to the kids' clubs, the shows and playing in the poolsprincess:. I am looking forward to meeting other girls my age and hanging in the Lab with them:grouphug:! I am going on this cruise with my dad, Chip, my mom, Cathy and my brother Christian (12 years old). I am so excited to be going on another cruise.:cheer2:

Hi Catrina!

I am also 9 years old in the fourth grade, and I live in St. Louis, MO. I have been on other cruises before, but this is my first Disney cruise. I look forward to meeting you, and I hope that we'll be good friends.

Could you tell us more about yourself?

-Julia
