Just another opinion:
Yosemite & Sequoia cannot be compared. Completely different. Yosemite is gorgeous - Sequoia is spectacular - both have their own personality and must be visited, at the very least, once in a lifetime. The Disney Hotel has a wonderful pool area for all - themed to Peter Pan - the large spa is wonderfully themed to Little Mermaid. There is also a tiny tots, smaller kids pool available. Grand Californian has a pool - not worth bragging about really. The atmosphere at Disney Hotel was very "Disney Magical" while the GC was a "hotel". Anyway, all the opinions here about travelling and sights to see up the coast are right on target. No need to add except the 17mile drive/Pebble Beach is gorgeous.
