You guys got your cards before Karen and my sister that lives here in SYRACUSE did... go figure that one out.
Terry.. after this bout of cold I long for a cruise...

Doreen

JOANNA - Watch your mailbox. You should be getting something from us.

TERRY - Now if you could only arrange for all of us to "actually" be on the island I would appreciate it very much. TOOOOOO cold here!

DOREEN - I love the card! Thank you so much. It's a beautiful family portrait.

Darlene

Yes, Joanna, check your mailbox..It should come by Wednesday.
Maybe it takes longer to get to the Island then it did to Mass and Jersery...

Thanks Darlene, I am so glad we had it done on the cruise.. I am getting so many good comments on the card this year.. But alas, I do yearn to be in the WARMTH... now its 2* here brrrrr..

Doreen

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE CHRISTMAS CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doreen and Darlene, They are BEAUTIFUL, I wanted so bad to get them BUT DD 12 didn't cooperate. Darlene, The stickers I LOVE THEM. Even Doreen's husband (LOL) laughed. Doreen, he laughed with what you wrote in the card and Darlene, he liked the smoothie stickers, I mean who wouldn't. I am putting some at work to remind me why I work LOL. And of course some by my computer.

By the way...I never got mail delivery yesterday 12/20/04. When I called, the supervisor said, we were so busy DUH it's Christmas week, time to rise to the occasion. And then it got dark so the carriers came back. Gotta Love it. I wonder if they are hiring, I want a job where I can slack off the busiest time of year and not get fired for it. By the way they said the Postmaster was on vacation, YEP can you imagine a CPA going on vacation April 10-April 15th. Busiest week with the rush mail and the boss is on vacation.

Getting those cards and pics make me want to cruise BEFORE 2006.

Have a nice day tomorrow. I also never get e mails notifying me of replies to this thread.

Joanna

JOANNA
You are so welcome! Hope the stickers help remind you of warm and happy times.
LOL about the post office! I am up at this wee hour of the morning tracking 2 boxes I sent to FL. I used a shipping store and you would have thought I was handing over my 1st child. So I am tracking the progress of the box containing my son's gift to his wife (it's a surprise for her to get anything from him while he is in Iraq). They assured me that they do a good job and delivery was scheduled for today. The tracking system shows that they are "out for delivery" in their respective towns! I'm so excited!!! I hope she likes the selection I made from his description of what he wanted to send her.

My son worked as a UPS helper 2 different Christmas seasons and I know he worked very hard and long hours getting those deliveries done. I can't imagine a Post Master scheduling vacation this time of year. The week after Christmas my office will be a ghost town. It will be me, my boss and 1 inspector. My boss and I are working so the rest of the office can have off. Could be quiet, could be a nightmare! Either way I'll pretty much be by myself because the other 2 will be out in the field.

I'm going back to bed until the alarm goes off. Have a great day!

Darlene

Doreen...Have a very Merry Christmas. Are you doing a fish dinner tonight?

A very Merry Christmas to all

Hi There

Good Christmas Eve to all my cruising friends, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a very happy new year to all of you.

I thought I would just log on one last time before Christmas Day. Turkey is cooking slowly, tree is lit, presents are wrapped, and we are just settling down for the evening before going to midnight mass.

This time last year I was in the Magic Kingdom, which was magical, but a quiet Christmas will be had this year staying at home with family and friends, well I say quiet, I have bought Vicki an Electric Drum set this year, so I expect tomorrow will not be as peaceful.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and God bless to all of you.

Love

Sue xx

No, may God bless you!!!

An electric drum set, what were you thinking??? Just kidding, LOL!!! :D

:rockband: :rockband: :rockband: :rockband:

Sue, Sue, Sue...What were you thinking, were you just lost in the moment "An Electric Drum Set" LOL Just kidding.

I was just talking to my friend and she wants to go away next year for Christmas, I am all for it, but the kids. I think they feel they will get gyped with gifts if we go away. We will see. We want to start a new tradition for our kids.

What is everyone doing tonight? I like to hear other traditions. We will be home as my mom is sick. But we usually do the fish thing on the eve and I do dinner on the day.

Have a very Merry Christmas All

Joanna

Hi Guys

It's 5.50pm here in the UK and it has just started to snow, I have had a wonderful day, just myself and my daughter as we are doing the family rounds tomorrow.

As for the electric drum set I bought Vicki........ Pass the Asprin!!!

Happy Holidays hope you are all having a wonderful time.

Love

Sue x Merry Christmas.

Sue...A white Christmas, how nice that sounds. Notice I say sounds, not looks. LOL

I guess Vicki liked the drum set.

Hope everyone is doing well today.

ENJOY

Joanna

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! To all my new and all friends.

We had a very lovely CHRISTMAS here. Yes JOANNA, We did have all the fish dishes last night. We still follow the traditional POLISH CHRISTMAS EVE the best we can and fast all day and have no MEAT.

SANTA comes to us that night. WOW did he come. We open gifts from my parents and sisters and my UNCLE that is still with us. WE have 2 new additions with JACLYN and my NEPHEWS BOY/GIRLFRIENDS also joined us. They were very shocked at how we celebrate and buy for each other.
Today, the kids, Marty and I open gifts from each other. They are all spoiled. We talked to KAREN on speaker phone while we all open gifts as well. Last night it must have taken 2.5 hours to open them all.

SUE, how is the headache? Did you give her lessons with the drum set? We had a green CHRISTMAS here. Although, when I went to the deck to get soda during dinner, we did get flurries...

How was everyone this HOLIDAY...??? Our trash men will like us this week.

Doreen

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

We have had a wonderful Christmas. Yesterday Stan's grown children came over with their boyfriend/girlfriend and we exchanged gifts. Then we headed out to church and Sandy stayed awake for the entire service and got to experience the candlelight "Silent Light" that is our traditional closing to Christmas Eve Worship. She got to hold her own candle and she looked so grown up singing her heart out.

Today we had a house full of family. When I say full, I mean push back the tables and find a spot on the floor full. It was wonderful! Sandy received many gifts and was very appreciative of each one. But she said the best gift was seeing her cousin Jeffrey (who flew in from TX) and everyone else. She's a good kid.

Did I tell you all that Stan accidently pulled his drain out? OMG, I lost weeks off of my life when he called me. Everything seems fine and we are just monitoring him for signs of infection per the docs orders. This self-care c**p is not my cup of tea. So far, so good.

Glad to hear that Joanna, Doreen, and Sue have all had a great Christmas. Doreen, traditions are so important, good for you! Sue, I bought Sandy drum sticks but no drums (is that cheating??). Let me know how you make out after a few months of drums. Joanna, I've thought about going away for the holidays but always think we will miss a very important part...family. Now if I could just take them with me...but then it wouldn't truly be a vacation. LOL Where would you like to go? Someplace warm, I hope!

Well, Christmas Day is almost over...HAPPY NEW YEAR!

God Bless You All,
Darlene

Good Afternoon to all or as we say here in the UK Happy Boxing Day.

Well for those of you good enough to enquire my headache from the drum playing is a lot better today thank you. Seriously though Vicki is very good at playing her drums as she has just passed her grade 6 exam and has been playing for about 2 years. So she does play fantastically.

Had a go at them myself yesterday, not so good,no rhythm whatsoever, drum playing looks so easy, but how they managed to move their hands at feet at different times, when I was having a go whatever my foot was doing my hand wanted to do the same.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day.

Darlene, buy the drumkit to go with the sticks, sticks only, sure is cheating lol.Hope Stan is ok after is little accident. What a worry.

Doreen, joanna, Andy,Carman,Tina,Terry,Bev,Ginny,Lyn and any one else I missed, Happy Holidays.

Sue

Hello Everyone..

Hope Christmas was a Happy and Healthy one...

Sorry for the delays in posting....Been very busy at our end...All Is well...

Talk Soon...

Bobby and Cindy

Hi Everyone,

We have another full day planned today. We will be going to church this morning, then after church we will be gathering at my one of my niece's house near Atlantic City for our "Family Christmas Gathering." This is the niece that went on the 2003 cruise with us, she got married this past May, and wants everyone to gather at her house this year.

My mom is busy baking some goodies to take along. With my mom being here, I haven't actually lost any weight, but I haven't gained any either, I've been staying stable for the past two weeks, which in itself is amazing considering the great cook my mom is!!!

Looking forward to another short 4 day work week, then on Saturday we are taking my mom with us to see Disney On Ice--Finding Nemo, in Philadelphia. On Monday January 3rd my mom will be taking Hazel and I to the Philadelphia Airport so we can catch our flight to Orlando. Monday evening we will be having dinner at Dixie Crossroads in Titusville, FL (Rock Shrimp and Cornfritters)!!! Tuesday morning, January 4th, Hazel and I will be boarding the Magic for a much need 4 day R & R cruise!!! We got an e-mail from our favorite CM aboard the Magic on Christmas Day. The ship was docked at St. Thomas and she had the afternoon off, so she sent us a "Merry Christmas" greeting. She is so excited that Hazel and I will be sailing with her again. We already told her that we requested her as our server for this coming cruise. She has become like family to us, she calls us, "Mom Hazel," "Sis Angie," Dad Andy" and Grandma Vi." We already told her to expect two great big bear hugs from us when we see her on the 4th at Parrot Cay for lunch. Can't you tell I'm just a bit excited about our quickly approaching cruise, LOL!!!

Well, I've got a few things that need to be done before I head out today, I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Holiday, here in the USA and abroad!!!
