LYN - I saw the mickey smoothie maker advertised somewhere, but now I can't remember where. Did you buy one? Isn't it just too cute! He's a little crooked which makes him comical.

Hazel and I are taking the special 4 day sailing of the Magic on Tuesday January 4, 2005. My mom will be up here and will be staying with Angelina while we escape town for a few days. This is my Christmas and Early 30th Anniversary gift to Hazel.

Darlene:

I didn't buy it because I already have a smoothie maker, but I am thinking about getting it for my sister.

Bev:

Hope you are feeling better. I love your motto and will be sharing it with my friends. Thanks!

Andy:

That is a great gift for your wife. I wish my husband would think of gifts like that.

Hello everyone, I thought I would post while I had my health this week. I have never been so sick as I have been since September.. Thanks for all the well wishes for Marty and I. His gram was 86 yrs old...
his dad did very well with his heart surgery too. He has a week heart,, he is home,, and still a very sweet and and wonderful man.

I started working at Daniels school in September so that can be the source of all my illness too... I stopped going to WW. that was my outlet on stress and "MY TIME" for me, kids are back to school and sports and I am running ragged. I need rest and relaxation.

Karen and a scooter,,lol I can see it now.. : LOOK OUT BIRDIES GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!

LYNN : wow 18 yrs of for MATT... wahoo!!
ANDY: Tell your mom that my mom and Karens mom will be celebrating her 70th bday as well on Aug 12 during our cruise. Try to get her to go.
I wonder how TINAS wedding went... cant wait to hear the news...
Terry how are things your way??
Bobby you out hunting yet??

Bev, that was an amazing trick.. Daniel and i did it a few times too!!

DOREEN - Hope you FULLY recover your health soon. Schools can be a source of all kinds of germs. I keep telling Sandy to wash her hands, wash her hands, wash her hands. I hope Marty's dad gains strength and gets better soon. You and Marty have had your hands full.

ANDY - What a great gift! I always tell Stan that the best gifts are the gift of time together. Good for you and Hazel!

Has anyone seen or heard from Ginny lately?

Gotta' run. I'm exhausted.

Good night,
Darlene

ALWAYS wash your hands.... even before i put the groceries away I wash my hands... Martys asks why,,and ITs becasue of the germs.. Our stores now have handi wipe type things to wipe the carts down before you use them,,, Oh please let this be a better week. And now today I get more shots to the back...

Ok I got this in EMAIL and had to post this here...
Flu Shot Solution
Here are some tips on how to deal with the lack of flu shots ..... Eat
right! Make sure you get your daily dose of fruits and veggies.
Take your vitamins and bump up your Vitamin C.
Get plenty of exercise because exercise helps build your immune system.
Walk for at least hour a day, go for a swim, take the stairs instead of
the elevator, etc.
Wash your hands often. If you can't wash them, keep a bottle of
antibacterial stuff around.
Get lots of fresh air. Open windows whenever possible.
Get plenty of rest.
Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can.
OR ... take the doctor's office approach: When you go for a shot, what do
they do first? Clean your arm with alcohol. Why? Because alcohol kills
germs.
So......
I walk to the liquor store (exercise), I put lime in my Corona (fruit),
celery in my Bloody Mary (veggies), drink on the patio (fresh air), get
drunk, tell jokes, and laugh (eliminate stress) and then pass out (rest).
The way I see it, if you keep your alcohol levels up, flu germs can't get
you!!!!

I thought it was cute.... Have a great day....

Hi  ,

Monday is always a hard day for me. Thought this was cute:

An old lady was standing at the railing of the cruise ship holding
her hat on tightly so that it would not blow off in the wind. A gentleman approached her and said: "Pardon me, madam. I do not intend to be forward, but did you know that your dress is blowing up in this high wind?" "Yes, I know," said the lady, "I need both hands to hold onto this hat." "But, madam, you must know that your privates are exposed!" said the gentleman.
The woman looked down, then back up at the man and replied," Sir, anything you see down there is 85 years old. I just bought this hat yesterday. Lol

Hope everyone has a great day.

Hi everyone :wave2:

John has been on vacation this week and we've been pretty busy between Robby's Science Fair at his school (he was a finalist but didn't win), his parent-teacher conferences, driving Craig back and forth to work (soon he'll get his driver's license!), and we've also been shopping and doing a few things around the house. Yesterday we hung up our new shutters, and I painted our front porch railing black to match the new shutters. Today John and Robby built a built-in storage bench for me, in our back porch. I LOVE it, and have wanted it for a few years now. I will paint it next week, after my company leaves and things quiet down a little. I have relatives arriving tomorrow from NJ, they'll be here till Monday. On Friday we're going to Boston to the New England Aquarium where we plan on seeing one of the 3D IMAX movies and see the aquarium itself, then we'll walk over to Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall and have lunch at the new Cheers that they built. On Sunday my BIL is giving a talk at our congregation so I'm also looking forward to that :)

I think of all of you often! I hope everyone is feeling better. Especially Stan and Doreen. And how is Daniel feeling now? How is Marty's grandfather?? Who else was sick? I'm sorry if I am forgetting anyone.

I hope you all have a great day tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! :sunny:
