Hey Terry - My DH's been called Bob too (instead of John like your DH too) LOL. I hereby put forth a motion that all men of The Infamous Crusin' Castaways of 2006 be renamed Bob! I also LOVE the idea of a CC banner!


All - I'm going to start searching NOW for a battery-operated smoothie maker. Seriously though, would you guys like the idea of a DIS meet on CC? I think you could all have a really great time there together. On the 8/28, I only saw Darlene & family the entire day. I know everyone was there on the family beach, but I didn't see you guys. Okay, all morning now I have this really FUNNY visual of all of us (clearing throat) middle-aged people running down the path of CC in SLOW MOTION (like the 6 Million Dollar Man) like crazed teenagers knocking people down for the best seats and hammocks (and near the electricity source too of course)! LOL You guys are great! It reminds me of the terrific time we had on the 8/28 and how I felt like I had friends everywhere I went onboard. If our last cruise felt like a private party onboard, can you imagine how this one is going to feel with the addition of all of our new friends too!

I am waiting for the day when both kids have games the same day and time, whose do you go to? Now at least they are different days,, or for that matter different seasons too.

Daniels is starting basketball tryouts now too. I want him to make the A team since there are only 3 -6th graders... trying out. School only goes to 6th grade( that coach plays favorites and Daniel would sit the bench). If he makes the B team he would play, but would be with 4th graders and no favoritism is shown... what do you do....

He would rather make the B team since he doenst like the kid whose father coaches,.. and his son will be on that A team..What ever happened to sports being FUN. ..The other coach makes it fun,, win or loose he said, its for fun

Now Jaclyn on the other hand. she plays too many sports,,lol Cheerleading just ended, LAcrosee is in training, Volleyball will start soon, and Cheerleaing for Basketball is an option if she gets her back handspring down...

Doreen.. I can so relate to the sports issues. I have commitments almost every night

Monday - Cheerleading Practice
Tuesday - Connor Gymnastics and Courtney Tumbling
Wed - Cheerleading & Football Practice
Thurs - Football Practice
Friday - Courtney Tumbling (she is also trying for that back handspring)

Sat - CCD and 2 different games - the one connor plays for and the one courtney cheers for. Usually they are not at the same time/place but when they are.. Bob and I split up and take them.

I would love to see everyone for breakfast on Sunday... I will talk to Bob and see if he thinks he can keep an eye on Courtney and do the "Chain Gang" for Connors game or maybe I can bring Courtney to breakfast and she can see Jessie & Katie... Hey that might work!!!

it put me there in 4 hrs 21 min. CV does this sound correct???

Just checking in - needed to take a break from this thread b/c I couldn't handle planning two cruises at the same time!!! (we all should have such problems, right?!)

I do believe I will be doing my doc dance today for my 11/13 cruise!

And, since I apparently can't get enough Disney, I just got back from a long weekend at WDW w/ DM and DSister - no kids! We did Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - what a blast! I will definitely consider bringing my kids next year! lol

Hi Doreen! I really hate Mapquest. If you can get to the Garden State Pkwy South then do this:

GSP So. to Exit 123 (Old Bridge/Sayreville)
Follow off the exit to Rt. 9 South (bear right)
Peter Pank about 1 mile down on 9 So. on the left hand side.
Take the next jughandle over to the diner.

It is very straight forward after the GSP exit.
