Hi Guys

I hope you dont think this is to cheeky of me, but does anybody fancy doing Palo brunch or dinner with me,as a single mum I did not want to do it on my own the last time, but I would love to give it a try next time or maybe a few of us could hook up and do brunch together. Let me know if you dont mind having a little stray one with you.

Sue, you are more than welcome to join Hazel and I for brunch. If there is enough interest, the private room at Palo seats 14 people.

Cheers Andy, Thanks for that,I'm up for sharing a table for 14 if anyone else is as well.

Sue

Andy...Count DH and I in for the group brunch, I am definitely going to do it this time. I thought you were going to California in August, now your timer says Fort Wilderness :confused3 Also, I am glad you have tent takers but I'll take the guest room if you don't mind, can't sleep with the red ants. LOL

Well it's time we threw our hats into the ring. While onboard in January we decided to rebook again, they must have something in the air, and we weren't sure of which dates we wanted. Having just missed Castaway Cay, we were talking with Jocelyn about it and she mentioned a couple of future cruises that are stopping there twice. Since DCL now owes me an extra stop at Castaway Cay, I opted for 8/19/06. I'm happy to be aboard and I will try to catch up on this thread before asking any questions. We'll be in 6046 and 6047. So far it's Mark, Sandy, DD14, and DS11. We have room for other family members, but we don't know which are coming yet...Mark

Lyn:Thanks my DS is the oldest. I am still learning. He is 14. I hope my DD is easier when is gets to be at that age.

Andy: Count us in for brunch !!

Sue: If you still want to do the Palo dinner.........Your welcome to join me and Chuck. We will be doing both. I am going to be surprising Chuck with the Romance package at sea. I will be able to make the reservations ahead of time as it gets closer to cruise time.

Doreen: Glad to hear from you. Sorry Karen had to have more extensive surgery. Hope she heals quickly. :wizard:

Since they are doing pirate night now I was wondering how many people here were planning on dressing up? This is our first 7 night. We never did the tropical night. Last cruise we were busy with wedding. Tina

Sue I don't think that's "cheeky" (love that word) at all. If you would also like to do a Palo dinner you are welcome to join DH and I. My sister should also be joining us but she is not sure who she is inviting on the cruise yet, it will probably just be a friend of hers. You can let me know as the cruise gets closer. The more the merrier!

Diane

Oh and I almost forgot...welcome Mark & Sandra!

Mark and Sandra...WELCOME ABOARD...At Last another Long Islander :Pinkbounc
Thanks, we're in Ronkonkoma, and you??

sorry for taking so long to post here, but been busy with another upcoming cruise thread, Ship of Fools.

Islip area here. Not that far. I see from your countdown that you are doing the 14 day, do you think you will be wanting another cruise after doing a 14 day? Hmmm, was that a dumb question. LOL

Joanna

We're minutes apart, surprising if we don't bump into each other some day. This cruise thing can be addictive...mark

Sue and Andy: Please count DH and I in, for the brunch, dinner, tea...ANY and all! We did all three on our last cruise and enjoyed each of them :) And we'd love to have company, whether it's one more person, or ALL of you :grouphug:

Mark and Sandra: Welcome aboard! :boat: We'll be in cabins 6042 and 6043, so we'll be "neighbors" too. :wave2: We'll have DS18 (age at that time) and DS15 (age at that time) with us.

Joanna: Did you say you are thinking of taking the kids into NYC in August? Let me know when, maybe we can meet up. I'd like to take the kids in to have lunch at Mars 2112, or someplace equally "cool", and maybe stop in at that big World of Disney store. ::MickeyMo

Sue (again): Have you seen the movie "The Full Monty"? I LOVE that movie and was watching it the other night and was thinking that I'd like to watch that movie with you, so you could translate some of the slang :scratchin Most of it I can pretty much figure out, but some of the terms, I'm just not sure about... LOL

Mark & Sandra welcome aboard mates!!!

Ok whats wth the words being underlined???

Andy.. the kids really thought i went on the cruise.. They kept poking my skin and asked if I went tanning.. I guess it was the wind burn from all the ICE that pelted me down there..lol. The post card arrived inthe usual fashion... after my arrival home. And it coincided with my unavailability to be reach by cell in VIRGINIA reather I was out and forgot to bring my cell or I was napping,,lol The kids asked me what Karen and I ate and of course I mention most of the foods from the cruise. ( I am so mean). Thank you again for dong that for me. :goodvibes
MARK and SANDRA.. welcome aboard. I think those are the rooms that TERRY and I had this past cruise.. and your children will be the same age mine were..

SUE.. brunch is a must do. That is why I wanted to link RESERVATIONS. I am hoping we can convince DEBBIE in reservation to let us have one night and time to get the whole PALO's just for us DISERS esp since its like a reunion cruise for us... we have to agree on a time and day.. I think a day at sea and probably early enough so it wont interfer with to many other diners.. It may be a good chance to get it than.. Lets work on it.. :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Joanna it was great to talk to youlast night... I also needed to talk to someone and bring me to reality with the mess in my life. THANK YOU :grouphug: . good luck with the choice of puppies

have a great day everyone..
Doreen

Welcome aboard Mark & Sandra. Lots of us here are doing both this cruise & the repo cruise.

Jennifer

Mark & Sandra: Welcome Aboard :wave2:

Doreen: Did you ever link our reservations ? Did you play Tag your it on your last cruise? With this many people going it should be a riot.

Terry: I have wanted to see the movie "Full Monty". I will one of these days. Next snowstorm. I didn't mean to say the sssss word sorry. :umbrella:

Joanna:Small world I had an Aunt who lived in Islip and now lives in Fla. I was born in West Hempstead. When I was a kid my parents use to live in East Meadow. My mom was from freeport. I have an Aunt& Uncle who live in Stonybrook. The Aunt is the same age as me. Her husband is a fireman in Manhatten. My father was born in Brooklyn. My Grandparents used to live in Garden City now they live in Fla. My God parents use to live in Lawrence. Everyone moved away except the Aunt & Uncle. I remember when I was a kid going into the city at Christmas time with my Grandparents and other kids. It was the BEST. o.k enough of that just had to tell you.

Mark & Sandra: I see your from Long Island also. See the above post. :cool1: I live in upstate now. It's o.k........no family around. They were smart. They are where it's warm. Tina
