Hello Everyone, I think it finally stopped snowing here in CNY. Not as bad in Syracuse as in our neighboring city of Oswego, and points north. I cannot start the snowblower, so I shoveled, and shoveled, and shoveled more. But I enjoy the fresh air and exercise. I hope everyone is happy and healthy, and Andy, if you need someone to carry the luggage for the 21 day vacation, give me a call.

Actually, the city of Syracuse is about 1 hour away from Oswego, but only about 1/2 hour from Parish, where they had 100 inches by Friday. I guess it is still snowing today, but the sun is shining here. I think we in Syracuse were very lucky as the Lake Effect band was north, west and east of us. I do like the snow as i do enjoy shoveling for the exercise and fresh air, but I guess if I lived in the north country, I wouldn't be so happy. Linda, how are you doing up in Central Square?

This was me all morning. but now I am finished. Doreen is having a L-S open house and wine tasting today at a local winery. That should be fun.

so, I got some free time, so decided to post. I have a lot of thing planned till June 6th. Here's my list of things
February 22nd- Roark at Maxwells in Hoboken
February 25th-Nets game
March 1st-driving down to Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ at 10:00am to go see Hanson that night
March 3rd-Irving Plaza to see The Early November
March 9th or 10th till the 12th-Disney World
March 11th-The Early November(My 19th Birthday)
March 12th-come home
March 20th-Taste of Chaso's in Camden Nj, and tweeter center
March 22nd till 25th-Chicago
March 22nd or 23rd-Mae concert in HOB in Chicago
March 25th-come home
nothing in april yet
May 5th and 6th-bamboozle and I'll get to bamboozle at 8:00am may 5th on sat and get back to my house at 11:00pm on sun night
June 6th-Honda Civic Tour PNC Arts Center
and throw work and grey's anatomy in there busy busy busy

There is absolutely no way in H E double LL that I would be able to get all that time off at once. And it would mean only 5 other days to play with for the year, with med appts. and mental health days, plus planning to go in 09, just not possible in 08

My thoughts exactly...... I will admit that we LOVE snow and a winter storm warning is a cause for celebration in our house. But you can have too much of a good thing.

Speaking of which.......looks like we're going to get a big snowdump. What a wonderful Valentine's Day present for me. I'm a total weather junkie and I'm going back and forth between accuweather and NOAA's web site.

We're getting excited but keeping our restraint until those winter storm warnings are posted.

Back to warmers thoughts.....got good and bad news about our B2B cruise in '08. We got our confirmation from DCL. Good news is that someone couldn't add properly and the quote we got for both cruises was too high and the actual cost is lower.

The bad news is that we got our 4th cabin choice. Ugh. Now we're right under the Goofy pool. I'll be packing the white noise machine for sure.

Question for you repo people......do you have personal assistants reading all the posts on your cruise thread for you. That's a full time job keeping up with all the new posts - what is it, like several hundred a day????

WOW, Ed, I LOVED that video!!! You did an outstanding job, and I love the music you added to it; every song was perfect for the part of the video it was in!! I especially liked the parts from when you were parasailing...very beautiful shots of the ship and Castaway Cay! I also enjoyed seeing the rest of your vacation too! I've got a 3-day Wonder booked for late August and I'm seeing cruise meet threads for the 4-day cruises right before and right after mine. So maaaaybe the ship won't be particularly full for that 3-day.
(one can dream, right).
