On a happier note.......did anyone else receive their latest DCL Shoreside Survival Kit? This one did not contain the music CD as before BUT INCLUDED A DCL CAR MAGNET!!!!!!

How cool is that!!!!!

Yesssssssssssssss.........now DCL can proudly share space on the back of my car with all my ski resort stickers and Jersey shore decals. Oh, I also have one of those fake balls crashing into your window decal (its a softball).

Only downside is that I realized my car is in serious need of a wash.

We got ours in the mail today, but no car magnet, we got the CD and it was broke in half, yes I said the CD was broke in half.

I think for the rest of the night, we are not going to answer the phone, or go outside of the house.

Good News.....the Prednisone and Aveeno seem to be doing the trick for my poison ivy. I've already noticed that the blisters are starting to dry up, and the itching is nearly gone!!!

We got the magnet, the CD came after our last cruise in Nov '05. Sorry to hear about the CD, but that is the reason I posted the link at the top of the forum so DISers could download the photos, music, and screen saver. Many times the CD didn't show up and when it did it was broken.

Sorry to hear about the family. It is a shame how bad things happen to really good people.

Hazel did get a call from her brother(Tiffanie's dad) last night. He said she was still not doing very well. He thinks she might have done too much partying at her cousins wedding Saturday night, and wasn't taking her medication like she is supposed to. No further word on Lisa or Peggy.

Jeff, I did download the CD inforamtion that you had posted on the DIS before, I wasn't sure if it was the same CD or not, now I don't feel so bad about receiving the broken CD!!!

We also got another "Shoreside Survival Kit"! lol Last time, after our 2004 cruise, the kit also included our Castaway Cay cards, but this time it only had the CD in it. What does the car magnet look like?? Is it a decal?

I did mine on www.freewebz.com you might want to give that website a try. I just followed their instructions and had my site up and running within a few hours.

Do you remember before we could check in online that all our cruise documents came in this brownish envelope? The car magnet is a similar color and style.

I will admit I wish the magnet were in the DCL colors (red/white/blue) as that would be easier to read.

On a separate note......both kids are home sick with those back-to-school colds. It took long enough. So now I'm popping vitamin C and putting honey in my tea.

Yea, the back-to-school colds hit Angelina last week, she was home Friday. I'm glad if she got sick it was last week, as Homecoming is this weekend. The theme for the Homecoming is "Pirates of the Caribbean." Angelina is wearing a black dress with red stripes and is getting her fingernails down in black and white with a skull and crossbones on one finger of each hand. This dance should be interesting!!!

I told Angelina that Hazel and I were going to dress in our pirate costumes and come to the dance, afterall, Hazel and I both graduated from the school that Angelina attends. Angelina didn't think I was a bit funny!!!

One prayer has been answered, Tiffanie is out of ICU, but still in the hospital with an upper respitory infection.

We are still waiting on updates about Peggy and Lisa.
