Maybe Angelina got some of those mechanic earplugs that Jaclyn and I wore to bed at night on the MAGIC!!!

:rotfl:

Actually, I think she has her iPod earplugs stuffed into her ears!!! :lmao:

Did anyone see that 17 year olds were in the adult club, i got po because they kicked some 17 year olds out I had met, thats why i know they were 17 and didn't kick out two other 17 year olds I saw, I think they should have kicked them all out if they wanted to be fair.

Andy: Well, I guess the good news is you will have a new roof soon. :thumbsup2

Elaine: Good job on the signature.

I am not a morning person, but Missy is. She has to be at work at 7:00 and I don't have to be at work until 9:00. It works for me since I get to have some nice Father/Daughter time with Sarah before I drop her off at daycare.

Although moving is not a lot of fun we are in the process of painiting the girl's rooms. Catherine's is done and now Missy is picking out Disney borders and wall art for Sarah's room. Some of the stuff is pretty cool. Of course we are going with a Princess theme although sometimes Sarah acts more like Stitch. :stitch:

Now that the laundry is finished, I have to go to the bookstore and buy a book because one of my friendly sticky fingered co-workers helped themself to a library book that was on my desk and now i am responsible for replacing or paying for it. This will be cheaper. I cannot believe it and hoped that whoever read it, enjoyed it, and would return it when finished. NOT!!!

Working tonight at the restaurant, it should be busy, trivia and karaoke.

But have a day off tomorrow. What will I do? All the chores I have been putting off.

Have a great day.

Hi everyone,

Terry - thanks for the weekly countdown and including mine.

I did all the laundry, now I just have to pack. Leaving Friday and going to the MNSSHP Friday night. Booked an excursion for Antigua. Now I just have to book one for St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Barbados lol. Been to St. Thomas about 4 times so far so we just might enjoy the Wonder. Also been to Castaway Cay many many times and looking forward to going again. Now Lindsay shows me that Universal also has a scary Halloween evening at the park on 9/29 so I might have to force myself to stay in Orlando longer. :rotfl2:

Someone on the upcoming cruise is doing the Magic this week then the 11 day Wonder back to back. Now that's what I call a vacation. :)

Lindsay goes to the doctor this week and I'm hoping she'll get her cast off.

I don't think that any vacation that I ever took, went as fast as this MAGICal one did. 7 days just flew by and I miss seeing a friendly face everywhere I went. (Even the ladies room at MGM after the cruise- lol)

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Bev :sunny:

Bev: we went to the Halloween Horror nights at Universal a few years ago and it was awesome, if you get the chance I would highly recommend it. My DD wants to go down to do it again this year, hopefully we can work it out.

We don't go to the clubs since my wife is "early to bed" and I am not a big partier either. I did go to Diversions on Thursday night for a quick beer before closing and there was this 18 year old guy who was very loud and obnoxious.

At first I thought he was drunk and then one of the bartenders said he is 18 and not old enough to drink. I was amazed that someone could talk so long about nothing so loudly; it clearly spoiled a moment I had reserved for unwinding.

I had never heard a CM speak badly of any passenger, but one behind the bar was clearly annoyed. She said, "He just won't shut up". She would have thrown him overboard if she had the chance.

He approached me and started "yammerin' on". I told him in no uncertain terms to "go away!!". It stopped him in his tracks and he just turned around and focused on someone else. It was really the only experience on the ship that was a little unpleasant, but then I am from NJ and used to that type of person so it was no big deal. :rotfl2:

Well the towncar got here on time this morning (4am) and now John is on his way to Portland, Oregon and then later in the week onto Toronto, Ontario, on a business trip.

He'll be home late Friday night. On Thursday night he has plans to meet our friends from Canada (They live in Toronto) that we're cruising with in February for dinner, so that'll be fun for him.

In the meantime it'll be the boys and I, and Mushu, holding down the fort at home. LOL :sunny:

I hope everyone is having a good weekend :smooth:

I went to pick Angelina up from work last night, and when she got in the car, I said to her, "You are making me very hungry, you smell like a pizza." The aroma all the way home was driving me crazy, darn this WW diet, LOL!!! :rotfl2:

It was funny......when I got Angelina home last night after her first five hour shift at the pizza shop, she said to us, "I need to soak in the tub, my feet are killing me" LOL!!! :lmao:

was it a guy with one arm? because if that's the guy I know who you are talking about, like i mean i saw him.

Terry-good luck holding down the fort, but with those big strapping boys, it should be easy, and Mushu, of course.

Andy-tell Angelina the most comfortable shoes to work in a restaurant are a good pair of wide toe box sneakers or I have found my Doc Marten's to help my feet not hurt so much.

Thanks Elaine!!! Angelina is going to try on the wide toe box sneakers that Hazel has and see how they feel. If they do the trick, then it's off to the store to get another pair before her shift tonight.

I had an "encounter" w/this guy as well. Apparently he made himself well known @ all the night spots on the ship. The regulars in Diversions were calling him Rain Man. In addition to being generally obnixious, he had a thick portfolio of sports stats and wanted to talk sports w/folks once he found out where they were from.

Im a big A.I. fan and once he tried to down my favorite player, I knew he was "special".
It takes all types....

Yeah i know they should have kicked ALL the little people out even if they were with their parents it was soo not right. the ones who got kicked out didnt bother me. its the ones who didnt get kicked out that did. that was soooo not right one little bit.

I too had an "encouter" with him. Yes he was soooo loud and obnoxious just going up to random people and talking. The looks he got were so funny. The first day of the cruise when I went into Diversions I walked in and sat down then two minutes later this dude comes over to me introduced himself and I told him My name Im like Lindsay. He then said how do you spell it. I told him He said like Lindsay Lohan I said yes. and then he just walked away. A few nights later one of the friends I had made comes in to tell us she's spending the night with her family but just wanted to say Hi. He just starts Randomly talking to her and tried to pick her up. It was so funny though. I also was wondering what he had in that book of his. Who would bring a book of stats on a cruise? thats a little weird.

Good Morning Cruisin' Castaways!

Just wanted to ask eveyone (in the nicest of ways) to please keep things light on our thread. Many, many people read our thread even if they don't post on it, and I know the last thing any of us would want to do would be to offend anyone. Thanks all!

Mary Rose

Good Afternoon Mary Rose and thank you

Just on QVC, epiphany platinum clad sale, I think all day, this could get costly

I just noticed on the travel channel, this PM, they are having a special about the DCL. I cannot wait to watch it so now I can say "been there"
