Jeff: When is your guess on when they will release the schedule ?

I expect it to be similar to 2004. The Magic will be back from the Med so DCL should return to a fairly normal schedule in 2008. That being said, no major planning will need to take place so DCL should release the 2008 schedule in late September or early October. This is pure speculation based on DCL history.

Someone mentioned about getting there daughter's braids done? I got Brooke's done a couple of years ago and here a pic of what it looked like afterwards. We called her simba. Her hair was so soft.

Absolutely. Since only the concierge level rooms have non-refundable deposits I plan to make a phantom book.

My word people, I come home for lunch and I have like 4 pages to read to get all caught up.

My vacation starts at 3:30pm on August 16th, we fly to Florida Thursday morning August 17th!!!

Unless things change, August 16, 2008 will be eastern and August 23, 2008 will be western. I know (at this time) our buddies Sue and Vicki, from South Wales, are planning on booking the August 23, 2008 cruise. Vicki wants to see Key West.

Tina--you can book a fake date for the end of 2007, then transfer that ressie to 2008 when the dates become available.

Not sure what post number this is now, but whatever it is, we're on our way to 10,000!!!

Time for me to get some lunch!!!

That is good news about the 23rd. This will be our second western and we will not have seen KW or GC. Last November over Thanksgiving our Double Dip took us to GC, but the water was too choppy to tender so we moved on the CM.

Since neither cruise (last Nov or this one) is going to KW that is still on our list. A regular western that goes to KW, GC, CZ, and CC would be cool too.

Aw...who am I kidding. We don't care where the Magic is as long as we are on it.

I told Ed the other day that I got a call back from DCL and they were able to squeeze Hazel and I in the main dining room for Palo Brunch on Thursday at 10:30. We'll drop in and say hello to y'all in the private dining room that morning!!!

Just think, for all of us that re-book on this sailing we can just continue this thread and be up to ????????????????? by the August 2008 cruise.

Thanks for posting that pic from Wendy's Tea. I actually got tears in my eyes. That was a whole year ago already!!

Sandy asked for a Bitty Baby for her birthday. SHHHH, don't tell her that I got it. I debated about getting it because I'm just not sure how much longer she will play with dolls. Then I thought about it...and I bought it BECAUSE I'm just not sure how much longer she will play with dolls.

Not sure if I will pack it to give to her on her birthday or give it to her before we leave.

Well a lot of you have us beat on leaving early but we won't leave Florida till Sept. 1st. Anybody else staying that long???

Would love to rebook on board but we are planning our big move to Florida in July 2008 & the kids start school at the beginning of August down there! Maybe we'll have to head over to Cocoa Beach for the weekend & wave you all off!
