Has anyone ever rented bikes at CC? Do you reserve a specific time or just show up? My kids want to ride bikes on the first CC day.

Where on CC do you rent the bikes?

i have rented bikes on CC. Yes, you can show up and rent it. The bikes are park near where the braiding area are done. I strongly suggest that you rent them early in morning otherwise you will end up sweating like crazy in the HOT sun!!! !!!

Then you can ride your bikes down to Serenity Bay area and right there is a bike path thru like the beach "woods" which is very shady and at the end you can see the most of the island as well as the ship.

Wow, you all were so busy posting last night/overnight/this morning!

Doreen: CALL ME NOW! LOL It's 7:30am and I'll be here for about another 40 minutes before I have to leave for work. I would email or PM you my CC# but I really don't trust having my CC# out there in non-secure cyber space! LOL Also, I will be home most of the night tonight, but please call before 10pm because that's been my new bedtime since I started working



I think we'll make 10,000 posts EASILY by cruise time! Like Dori from "Finding Nemo" would say "Just keep posting, just keep posting...."



Oh yeah...I have sort of bad news. I called the company who has the lime green leis and the reason why I could only order 24 of them from their web site is because they ONLY HAVE 24 lime green leis and unless I wanted to order 500 of them, they won't be getting in any more from their supplier Those were the ones that cost 75 cents each. The other company I guess would have more of them, but those cost $1.30 each and as of right now I have requests for over 100 of them, plus tax and shipping, would put my order close to $175. As much as I love you all, I just don't have a spare $175. right now So....I'll see what I can do...I haven't given up yet! I plan on going to the party store on my only free weekend before the cruise (Aug 5-6), and hopefully I'll find something there that I can bring and share with the group.

Ok, cruising in 2008 sounds like a good idea to me! I agree with whoever said, let's try the eastern caribbean this time.

On our cruise next month we WILL be rebooking another Disney cruise, but it'll be the February 4th, 2007 4-night Wonder cruise that we'll be going on with friends from Canada. She's never cruised DCL before but is a HUGE Disney World fan, and he's never cruised before at all, and they're really very lovely people so I think we'll have a great time. She's a DISer and already knows more about the 4-night cruises than I do. I haven't really started to research them much, yet.

Anyway... I'm thinking that while we're on THAT cruise, we can rebook for the 2008 cruise! Does everyone think that the rates and dates for 2008 will come out this fall, like what happened in 2004, when we all booked this cruise??

Anyway, count us in, for now!

Just to give you an idea if you like, this is what the name tag I made for our first cruise in 2003 and Hazel and I still used these on our last cruise this past May. I got the plastic button holders at AC Moore. I think they are like 2.25" round. Hazel and I will probably be wearing our's on Embarkation Day, but my teenage DD won't be caught wearing her's, LOL!!!

Andy: Nice button ! I made one for Chuck and I but didn't think of putting our screen name on it. It just has a green background with mickey mouse sticker and our first name on it.

Boy, try to catch some sleep, and I come back to 5 more pages. Oh, the excitement is mounting!!!!

Tina, we also had DSL, and always had problems, until my son finally called and was informed that our area was not set up for DSL. So, I think it took him all of 3 days to have RR set up in our home. Have had no problems since.

Wow, you guys sure were busy. Welcome back little sister. It's good to see you. The joys of not being able to trust someone. Yeah!!!

So I think I have to go shoe shopping tonight after work, the hubby will be working and the son will be golfing, and the gym is closed today for employee training, so what else is a girl to do?

I cannot wait to meet you all in 21 days. See you soon. I can go to the Sears Hardware and get the green paint chips also, just let me know what I can do.

Elaine: This is the first time we have EVER had problems with DSL. They think it might even be the modem. We had some pretty bad thunderstorms here couple of days ago. I just don't like the fact that they give you a 4 hour window of just waiting It could always be worse.......

Boy, I miss a day and I had somewhere north of 10 pages to catch up on! This sure is a chatty bunch!

A little mom brag - my DS Aaron was selected to swim in the conference championship swim meet yesterday. He did really well, considering that he's only been swimming competitively for less than a year. His team took third overall, and individually, he placed 4th or 5th out of 12 swimmers in his races. We are very, very proud of him.

Three weeks from right now we will be on our way to Orlando! Cannot wait to meet you all!

Denise...........Congrats on your Ds swim meet success. My DD did swim team for the first time this year. She did okay. What she really wants to do is diving. I can only imagine what is involved with that sport. She show stick with soccer for now.

The 2008 sailing would be interesting. Due to scout stuff for that summer, it would only be my DD and myself. She already says she wants to go on another cruise. Shock! Not sure I can do 7 days without adult interaction. Although, this might work..........Hmmmmmmmm..................

I just got home from the doctor, I've been a little tired lately, what with getting prepared for the cruise and keeping DS Sean out of trouble. But the doctor did some tests and guess what?

I'M PREGNANT AGAIN!!!!!!

I guess it's still early, so i'll be able to have a smoothie or two, I'd like some suggestions for Disney names for the new baby. It's way to soon to find out if it's a Mickey or Minnie. Any suggestions?
