Hi Terry,

How are you feeling? That sure was a weird dream.:scared1
have you been able to go back to work?

I think about you all the time.

KAREN

Hi Karen :wave2:

I went back to work for a couple of hours on Wednesday, and I worked my usual 6 hours on Thursday and Friday. The first 2 days I was still sore and had some discomfort, but I'm able to work at my own pace and choose whether to do computer work sitting down, or get up and move around a little, so it all worked out OK. By Saturday I was starting to feel about 90% better :) I just hope this thing doesn't recurr.

Thanks for thinking about me. :goodvibes I think about all of you all the time, I really miss planning a Disney cruise!!! :surfweb: lol

Yep, those be the same PJ's as the lockout night a little while back.........:lmao:

We are spending Spring Break with my mom in Florida, just have that NEED to get AWAY!!! ::yes::

Andy: That's too funny! I had no idea that your Goofy PJs were blue and fuzzy.

Have a great time in Florida with your mom!! :grouphug: :sunny:

Thanks!!! Really looking forward to getting away!!!

I also have a computer to take down to my mom that my brother Rob put together for her. The computer she had gave up the ghost a few months back and she really misses reading her e-mails and seeing pics of the family.

Hi Everyone, it's a gray and gloomy day here in CNY. Just got back from visiting my father and Doreen and Jaclyn and Daniel showed up to show him how to work his DVD player. He asked me yesterday to guide him over the telephone, but that was impossible. Jokingly, I told him to go get the 3 yr old next door and he could probably help. Well it turns out the DVD was not even plugged in properly. Thanks Daniel for your help.

Have to start on the laundry:laundy: and then dinner with the son tonight. We are anxiously awaiting his graduation from LeMoyne College in May:teacher: and just found out that he was nominated to deliver the commencement address. Lets keep our fingers crossed that he is elected.

Terry, I am glad you are feeling better.

Andy, have a great vaca with your mom, and say hello to your ladies for me.

Take care all:goodvibes

Hi everyone
It's been soo long since either Sean or I have been able to post anything (or even read anything!) on this site! We've been busy with getting settled into the new house that we haven't had much time to play on the computer. (there are still boxes and bixes in the basement just waiting to be unpacked...arrgh) Since sean is finishing up his masters paper and is typing away every night, I don't get much time after work either. But I'm home from work today and am sneaking a little time in. There is so much to read and catch up on!

Elaine, that is awesome news about your son. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Terry, hope you're feeling better.
Anyone - I saw the postings for the Disney dreams jobs. Some of them are a riot. Let me know if any of you have family/friends you'd like Sean and I to vote for! Andy, where is yours?? Don't they have any openings for cruise directors???

Just wanted to say hi and that I'm thinking of everyone.

Happy to hear you, Sean and the kids got into your new house, tell them we said hello. Hazel keeps asking me if I have heard from you, now I can tell her I have!!! Take Care and keep in touch!!! :thumbsup2

Hi everyone,

I'm stuck at home this morning waiting for the gas company to come and hook up our new clothes dryer. DH has been pestering me for two years to get a new washer and dryer and I finally relented. Got those fancy front loader kinds with all kinds of bells and whistles.

All I was told is that the service guy should come "sometime in the morning".

Terry.....loved hearing about the dream. Too funny. Amazing how our brains work at night. I have all kinds of weird dreams but I can't remember them once I wake up. I have had dreams about cruising. But none as good as yours.

I'm so relieved you are feeling better.

Glad to hear people are reporting good news lately. We did seem to have a run of bad luck there for a while.

We, too, are leaving on Saturday for spring break. A week up at Smuggler's Notch for the last ski trip of the season. All this warm weather has taken its toll on the slopes but I was told that not many people are booked next week so it will be empty.

And the cost is dirt cheap since its off-off-off season.

Hi everyone :wave2:

Thanks for all the good wishes; my original problem for which I had the procedure done seems to be doing ok, however having to spend those days flat on my back and unable to move much has really done a job on my back. I've been having muscle spasms, off and on, in my back, neck, and shoulder blade, since then. The heating pad helps a lot, along with Advil. Anyway, I am feeling much better, nothing that a little more time won't help. :)

Are you guys watching/recording the new updated version of the DCL Travel Channel special? We have it on in the background here, it's pretty good, they've added in a lot of new stuff to reflect the changes in the ships. :sail:

As much as I'm looking forward to the cruise this fall on Royal Caribbean, I know I'll definitely be sailing DCL again in the future! :sunny:

Anyway, everything is fine here; kids are fine, John is fine, work is fine... :surfweb: LOL Just counting down the days until my trip to WDW in May! :woohoo:

I hope everyone is doing well!!! :grouphug:

Hello Everybody,

Sorry we have been away...

Just booked November 29th Western Cruise for 2008...

Good morning everyone :)

It's raining again here! :umbrella:

Bobby: Hi there, long time no see! :wave2: How are you and Cindy and the kids doing? Congrats on booking the cruise!! :sail:

So far we don't have any cruise booked for 2008. We're sailing on a 9-night Royal Caribbean cruise this fall. Royal Caribbean just released their 2008 dates/rates yesterday. We'll have to see if anything looks good on their schedule :3dglasses My DSs are at an age and stage in school (high school and college) where they don't want to miss school for any reason. Neither of them have had a sick day this year (so far!). I miss the days when they were younger and it wouldn't matter if they missed a week of school. Ah well... lol

We're looking forward to possibly sailing DCL in 2009, and we hope we can sail with as many of YOU as possible! :grouphug: At this point though, who the heck knows where the ships may be that summer. lol

Diane: Thanks! I'm really looking forward to that WDW trip next month. It's been something good to look forward to, these last few weeks.

So, as April 14th and 15th are getting closer I am getting sadder and sadder. I just can't believe it will be two of the three of the last times I ever see them live, at least I will still have May 6th to kind of look forward too :cool1:. Who am I kidding, I'm be cry a river all three days :sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:. sorry for venting, just needed too.

Julia, I thought of you last week when I went to the dry cleaners because the young girl working there had on a "The Early November" t-shirt. :) I hope you enjoy those last few concerts. :rockband:

Hi everyone,

We were on spring break last week at Smuggler's Notch in VT. Early in the week it was really, really bad. Warm temperatures and it rained hard on the Monday. Not many trails open. Tuesday was okay - warm temps and very soft snow. The mountain was shut down in the morning as there were thunderstorms in the area and you don't want to be running chair lifts with lightning in the vicinity.

Wednesday was BIG turnaround. We had a full-blown all-out BLIZZARD!!!! Between Wednesday and Friday we got dumped with two feet of snow. The temps weren't that cold (mid 20s) but the snow was extremely light and fluffy.

It was pure nirvana - almost the entire mountain was open, particularly all the glades. Its always been my dream to ski fresh tracks through the woods and I did it. You feel really connected to the mountain when you ski through the woods.

The only downside to skiing in deep snow is the toll it takes on your legs. Wow - that was painful on the quad muscles. But you're on such a mental high that you push through the pain. Its all worth it.

And no worries about what you eat for dinner that night. If anything, you're so tired you're not as hungry. (its the complete opposite of DCL where you don't do much but have all that food around).

Good Friday truly was a good Friday. The best ski day I've ever had and a terrific way to end the winter season.

So now I can officially move onto spring......spring sports kicking into high gear. I gotta start on the spring clean up in the yard.

I missed the new DCL show on the travel channel. Anyone know when it will be repeated?

Andy.....hope you had good weather in FL and that the cold didn't make it that far south.

Terry....hope you have a good time in WDW. We'll be there in August so any tips/advice would be great.

Our school district changed its vacation plans for next year and now we have two "spring" breaks - we get the whole week of President's Day as well as a week in the middle of April. So we booked a full week at Smuggler's for President's week. Ouch - holiday prices.

You know.....cruises are great because all the food is included in the cost of the cruise. Last week at the ski resort cafeteria I bought a bottle of water, a half pint of chocolate milk and a small soda it cost me $9.00!!!! :scared1:

And what's up with gas prices lately!!!!! :scared:
