I have dial up internet (yeah, I know). The video took about 40 minutes to load. But once it loaded it played beautifully with no pauses, stops or disruptions.

The screen size is very nice and the sound quality was excellent.

And kudos to the camera (wo)man.

What a great video and thanks for posting it.

And just think.....Slash and family were in 8522 & 8524 (just a few doors up from you).

BTW.....the family that was in the Walt Suite was absolutely terrific. In fact, they were sitting at the table right next to you at the Concierge party at Topsiders when we were leaving CC on Sunday night.

We kept running into that family all over the place and in the strangest locations off the ship.

Can't wait to see your pictures....

Hello Everyone.. how is everyone.. What a crazy week we have had..
NYC was so wonderful as it always is.. Jaclyns school that she wants to go to is top notch.. 90 yrs celebration next month... Now we have to find a roommate for her to live with.. MARY ROSE you want a replace ment for TARYN when she goes away..lol

I gave my childrenthe culture of travel and education and now they both love NY and know it very well... we had no problems withthe subways and the hotel was so lovely and sophisticated too!!

I have pre-ops tomorrow.. that is not as bad as surgery next week.. Any one want to take my place??

How is everyone dealing with the cold... BUFFALO NY is only about 3 hrs from me.. we were bracing for it but we got high winds only.. I havnet heard from TINA.. but the THRUWAY was closed from here area to beyond BUFFALO.. they are still without power

Terry.. glad to see you got your rooms already.. your FEB cruise will be here before you know it..You will have to tell us all about it..

Ok did everyone go on a cruise and forget to tell me?? Wowow no one is here.. I just had to write about this though..

Last night on JAY Leno... My all time love was on there BARRY MANILOW.. (meow).. well he has a new cd out as of the 31st.. and the song that he sang... Mary Rose and TERRY can you guess it.. WOWOW I was so happy.. "YOUR JUST TO GOOD TO BE TRUE." As we told you on the cruise it brought back some great childhood memories.. and now Barry is singing it..and he knows the words better than XOP!!!

My kids have a 1/2 day today.. so we are having a monopoly challenge for the next 3 -5 days.. we did this about 12 yrs ago and DD remembers.. so now DS wants in on it..

What a beautiful Fall day in CNY. And I am lucky enough to have the day off from work. What shall I do? Oh, yea, rake, rake, rake....stack wood... and clean up the yard with leaf debris. What a great day off, but you know my motto, "A bad day off is better than a good day at work"
When I woke up Saturday, I was remembering that beautiful summer day, August 19, 2006, and was very envious of the people that were probably getting ready to board the ship. Then about noon, I was reeeaaaaallllly envious of the people who were probably eating that sumptious buffet in Parrot Cay. I cannot believe it hit me so hard, how much I was missing the cruise. So I got out my pictures and relived the Magic! OK, not the same, but it helped to reminisce.

Hi everyone

I guess it was right when some said that the rates and dates won't be out for a while. Even though we're not 100% committed to the idea of cruising DCL in 2008, I really am very curious to find out if there will be any special itineraries or not. If they do announce something *very* special, and if it appeals to John and I, we *may* just be on that August 2008 cruise afterall! Probably not with the kids though. Only time will tell.

In the meantime, I've been busy with work, family, and household stuff, and with planning our October 2007 Royal Caribbean cruise. It's a lot of fun to be researching a new cruise line, especially knowing that we'll be sailing with my sister and my niece!!!! We've sailed RCI before, but not on this particular class of ship, and it was back in 2003 anyway, so a lot has changed, so there's a lot to learn.

My niece started a cruise meet thread over on the Cruise Critic web site and for a few days we were the only ones posting on it (LOL) but a few new people have already started posting. And that's more than I can say for our February 2007 DCL Wonder cruise. I've posted there a lot, and even started a weekly countdown, but the other DISers hardly post, so I've stopped doing the countdowns. Maybe as it gets closer there will be more activity on that thread, but with how busy I've been I got tired of posting to myself. lol

Its deja vu all over again with waiting for the rates. Its like we're in a time warp back to the fall of 2005 waiting for 2007 to come out. But at least back then we all had a good idea it was going to be the Med for the Magic in the summer.

What's so frustrating is that none of us has a clue where the Magic will be in the summer of 08.

When we did the Wonder in 2005 there wasn't even a trip thread started and that was for a 4 day cruise in the summer. So I'm not surprised you're not getting many responses. It seems hit or miss with the Wonder....either there's a good group of DISers or none at all.

Life is extremely dull and boring here. But that's okay. I'm finding that once you get past halloween that Christmas comes up very fast.

I'm in a split mode right now.....wondering what the Magic will be doing in summer of 08 while getting ready for the ski season that starts in about 2 months.

Sadly its going to be snow and taxes next since if I believe what some are saying it could be spring before summer 2008 rates are set loose.
