Hi Guys

I have just this second sent an email to my friend who works for the DCL in Celebration and asked him if he can give me any idea when they will annoucing the Summer 2008 dates. I will let you know if he has any info.

Hope your all well, Andy, Angelina looks wonderful as always :goodvibes

Andy, Since you and I are the only ones on. What is the name of the hotel in the Orlando airport? Is it the Hyatt or Hilton? You know the one right IN the airport.

They are asking about $246 for one night in February. We don't land until 8:30 PM, so we may stay local and either rent a car in the morning or take DCL transfers. Unsure yet.

WOW!!!

With my government employee discount, I was able to get the Radisson for $105.00 in May and August.

Happy Sunday Everyone!!

Doreen, Jaclyn, Daniel and I did the Making Strides walk this AM in downtown Syracuse, NY. I was prepared for any and all weather, earmuffs, gloves, umbrella, and sunglasses. The weather cooperated and a good time was had by all. My company, GHI, was a corporate sponsor this year. What a sea of PINK!!!

Did Angelina have a good time last night? I sure hope so. She looked stunning.

We stayed at the Radisson, it was my first time, but I would consider staying there again. The room was more than adequate and it was very convenient to have shuttle transportation to the port. Of course, we had the use of my friend's car. She has a home on Merritt Island, and we met up with her and she let us have her vehicle for Friday.

I hope everyone has a great week and talk to you all soon.

Back to Curves tomorrow :rotfl:

Thanks Elaine, yes Angelina and Kyle said they both had a very nice time last evening, especially since Hazel and I stayed home, LOL!!! :lmao:

Hi friends,

Andy, thank you for being the first and only one to welcome us back. lol We are officially back to reality as of 3:30 pm this afternoon. Everything was awesome and I will attempt to write about it when I'm feeling better. Thursday after leaving the ship, we went to Macaroni Grill for lunch. Something I ate apparently didn't agree with me because I spent more time in the bathroom from 2 a.m until 9 a.m, then I wanted to, being sick. Friday, I had no energy and called my family doctor who said it sounded like I was a getting dehydrated. I ate a light breakfast yesterday and felt a little better but today, having problems again. Wanted to say "HI".

Andy, glad to hear your family and Hazel's is doing better.

Doreen - good luck with your surgery. Take care of yourself.

Darlene - how is Stan doing?

To everyone else, I hope things are going well.

Bev :sunny:

This is for the Hyatt at the airport???????

That seems high......

I thought if you booked a stay at the Hyatt in combination with DCL that you got a deal.

We stayed in July 2004 and I think we paid around $139.

Yep, that is for the Hyatt. I didn't know they have a deal together. I will check it out. Thanks

I got the impression from my TA that it was a special rate for DCL customers.

Happy Monday all,

Still no word on 2008, but I am hoping something this week in conjuction with the millon dreams promotion.

Last night we went out to dinner and during the course of the conversation DH and the boys all said that they don't know if they want to go on another cruise in 2008. :faint:

In all honesty, I don't know if I'm up for another 2 years of trying to talk DH (and DSs too this time!) into cruising, like I did for this last cruise. It was just too stressful to continually have to talk him into it, and now especially since the boys don't seem to want to cruise either, I'm the only one who wants to. Guess I'm outnumbered. :confused3 If none of them want to go, what's the sense in planning it as a "family" vacation.

We didn't have plans to rebook until we're onboard the Wonder in February anyway, so I figure that gives me/us a few months to discuss it some more and come to a conclusion, one way or the other.

To say that I'm bummed out about this is an understatement, but there's a pretty good chance we won't be booking for 2008. :sad2:

P.S. One thing is for certain: If we do come to the conclusion that we ARE going to book for 2008, then I'm going to make it understood to DH and DSs that I will NOT cancel between now and then. Changing our minds every few months this last time drove me almost crazy. I have a feeling we just won't be booking at all. :sad1:

Terry... Does your DH not like cruising? But you are cruising in February '07?

Terry,

Keep the faith. While your family will have a great time cruising on the Wonder, it will make you miss the Magic. And aren't you in a cat 3 this time?

You'll be on the Wonder and suddenly its over and you're left wanting to spend one more day at sea and after having visited Nassau you'll be wishing you could go to more ports.

I know I enjoyed our cruise on the Wonder knowing that the following year we'd be back on the Magic.
