I'd be interested in a door magnet with this design. Like the one Andy is doing for the t-shirts.

Not to take up a monopoly, but I do also have a door sign that closely matches the t-shirt design. I'm attaching a photo of it below:

HI Andy... :wave2:
sorry i was away from here for a little bit...

I'll send you a PM Later!!!! ;)

Hey all. I see my wife (beachpal) finally joined the thread as well!

Nice t-shirts, Andy! Are you going to be taking orders for a second run? :artist:

O'BWV, can you list us on the first page of the thread? I think beachpal listed our family info and excursions a few pages ago. Of course, now that I think about it, we may not be sure what we're doing yet. Can you tell who's in charge of planning this vacation?

I researched and found several recommeded SCUBA shops in Cozumel. I'll be emailing them soon for more details. I'm still looking for others who are interested in joining me for a Discover SCUBA trip. :boat:

We won't be able to make it to the NJ dis-meet. We'll be on vacation that day. We'll just have to wait until the vacation to see everyone.

Finally, I just found this smiley and it cracks me up for some reason so I'm ending with it. :dancer:

Yes, I can make shirts up until the beginning of August if needed. ;)

Andy
Our shirts while a little large are fine for this year,
But I would like one of those door magnets. ( Cool looking)

I'll print you off a door sign right now while I'm home for lunch.

Wow what a lively bunch we've become!!! :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Ok, I'm going to go down the list and hope I don't forget anyone or anything!!

Ed: I now realize that I'll never be able to make magnets like those! Can you please make some for our 2 cabins? I LOVE that design! When do you need to know what text we'd like on them? I can send you my package of 4 magnetic sheets, if you'd like. Email or PM me with your address and I'll send them out. Also, let me know the cost of making the magnets, and I'll send that along too. :sunny:

Bev: Thanks! And speaking of work, I worked for our accountant today (just for the day, 6 hours), but this afternoon I got called for a REAL JOB interview! LOL I had sent in some resumes and applications off the Monster.com web site, and apparently someone at the headquarters of this company in Illinois thought I'd fit the bill, even though the job requires a degree in Business Administration, which I don't have, I definitely have the work experience, which hopefully is what they're looking for. The interview is tomorrow afternoon at 3pm. It's for a full time job, which I'm not sure I want at this point, but the job description sounds perfect for me, the pay is pretty decent, and it's not too long of a commute. I'll let you all know how it goes tomorrow when I get back!

Terry

Best of luck on the Interview.
I just ordered a pack of 50 magnetic sheets,
So I shouldnt need any sheets.

With any luck I will start to print next week.
I just need to know what you wish put on the signs.

Great door signs, VMan and Ed!!!

Do you mind if we "steal" them?? If not, can you email the templates?

Someone asked earlier about the door "magnets". I think the magnetic paper like Terry uses works best. I went the "cheap" route and that worked fine too (but not as durable, I bet, as the magnetic paper) - basically, I printed the signs on normal paper and got some self-adhesive magnetic tape for the back corners from the craft aisle at Walmart. My signs are still holding up great 18 months later, sticking to my door at home!

Also, Woo Hoo! Got our cruise t-shirts in the mail from Disney Store yesterday!! Nowhere near as nice as the designs from the talent on this thread, but fun!! Also got the 3 boys the Mickey Hawaiian shirts; very cute!

rats....smileys aren't working right now...phooey!

I can e-mail you a copy of my door design, but just so you know when they are sent via e-mail the picture and writing gets kind of grainy looking when you go to print them off. If you'd like to try printing one off, send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send it along.

Ok, so I walk into the office of where I was going for the job interview and the FIRST thing I see is a couch with a HUGE stuffed Mickey and Minnie Mouse sitting on it! LOL There was also a big Thomas the Tank Engine play table set up! LOL I immediately felt at ease. :smooth:

I had to wait a bit for the interview to begin, but once it started I felt very comfortable. I was interviewed by the head of the department that I'd be working for, and she was very nice, and blunt (which I think is a good thing in situations like this), and even more importantly, she said she liked me a lot. :goodvibes She said I was at the top of the list so far, of people she's interviewed, and she said she could tell that I was outgoing, friendly, yada yada yada. I liked her a lot too, and I like everything else about the job that I've seen so far. The commute isn't bad, 15 minutes without traffic, but probably a half hour in the morning rush hour. I know the area that the office is located, so that's a plus. The atmosphere of the entire office was business/casual and friendly, and I like the products that this company represents and which I'd be doing customer support for, which is important. It's really important to me that I choose a good office "fit" though, because it's been 18+ years since I've worked full time, and I will only work in a good environment, or not at all.

Anyway...she said she still had some more people to interview, and she'll be making her decision within the next 2 weeks. Oh, and I told her I loved her because she said I looked like I'm in my mid-30's! :lmao: (Apparently they're not allowed to ask how old you really are. LOL)

When I got home from that interview, there were 2 phone messages plus 3 emails from companies who've seen my resume online and want me to interview with them. lol So... hopefully I'll be gainfully employed within a few weeks. :surfweb:

You can either cut and paste or I can send you an email
The email would be a sharper image I think.

Let me know

Hi all,

I will be glad to make magnets for those who would like one,
Just drop me a pm with what you like put on your magnet

I decided to add my cabin number on this one

If uncertain on what you what, I could just put
The Cruisin' Castaways
Aug 19 - 26,2006

mickeyminnie%5Fsanda.jpg

Hi Ed:

Ok, here's my official order:

2 of the above door magnets; On the top left I'd like them both to say "Cruising Castaways" and beneath that "August 19th - 26th, 2006"
And then on the lower right of the first one, put "Terry & John" and under that "Cabin 6042". On the second one, on the lower right just put "Cabin 6043". I don't think my DSs want their names on their door. lol

Thanks so much for doing this, Ed, and please let us know what the final cost is, per magnet! :)
