sometimes life just aint fair
its been beautiful the past three days - nice sunny spring warm weather
and now that its the wknd and I finally have a day off - its pouring rain!
why is that? I remember this from last yr too

Barb--I know just what you mean!!! The one good thing about this weather is, I was able to get caught up on the DCL postcard requests that have been coming in last week and this week. Now, it's off to the post office to get the postcards on their way!!!

Good Morning Andy - Dave was called in to work overtime so I cleaned the 3bathroom, front hall and kitchen floors - they were wayyyy overdue (I dont like housecleaning esp when he's home)
Jonathan & I are on our way to Blockbusters

I did go through our pressed penny book. I think this Aug we'll try to get more from the resorts. Jon's book is full but there is alot of SeaWorld in there.
I want to take a look at his EpCot passport and see what needs to be done in there too. Heck I'll hand it to the CMs if he thinks its not "cool"

During the break in the rain, still dark and gloomy out. Did some food shopping.
at the local BJ's (wharehouse store like costco). Got the monthly suppy of paper goods and odds and ends, and stocked up on Pepsi. ,

Other than that, not doing much. Starting to look for ideas for a bday party for our soon to be 8yo dd.

can you believe I took a 2hr nap this afternoon? this has to have been one of the longest days in my life! ahhh Im hoping we can at least make a day out of Sun but seeing that even Mon maybe be raining

I took a nap this afternoon, that was until the rain started hitting the living room window so hard it woke me up. The water, running down the street in front of our house, looked like a river flowing by. We did a have a few sections of town that were underwater, and roads were closed for a while. At least the rain has now ended.

Good Morning All,

I woke up like usual at 5:30 this morning, and tried to convince myself that it was really only 4:30 and that I should go back to sleep for another hour or so, sadly that didn't work. It always takes me a few days to get used to this time change. In one way it was good I got up when I did because our thermostat was acting up this morning and I had to reset the thermostat. Our oil company is coming out this Wednesday to service our central air and oil heater(yearly cleanings), and we are having them install a new thermostat as well.

OMG! Do you see what I see? the sun, the sun - its peeking through the clouds - it is much brighter out today

That Easter candy has been very very bad to me - I found the Hershey kisses but they're almost gone
Gained about 5lbs - gotta get it back off - I had been at goal, right where doc told me to stop loosing - gotta get back there - almost time for that bikini! lol, ya right! maybe a tankini

No here, still overcast with passing showers this morning and quite chilly. It's a nasty, nasty morning, weather wise.

, Not here! It is REALLY pouring and are expecting flooding. Friday people were told to expect to have to leave their homes for a day or two. Not us though, we are up on the side of a mountain.

Sounds like it may be clearing some MA? Andy, how is down your way?

Well it's a beautiful sunny day here in Cardiff, finished 2 lots of washing and it has all dried beautifully out on the line in the garden.

Still overcast, breezy and chilly here, but the rain has stopped. I think we will be going from winter right into summer this year, another reason to have our central air serviced this coming week, LOL!!!

Well I do have to take the covers off the window ac's, but I think I will wait a couple more weeks.

Overcast in Ct, but the rain has stopped for now, upstate they may have some flooding from the run off but we're ok here.
