Hi everyone

I went to my gyn this morning and she will be scheduling me for surgery probably in June. :sad2: The problem is she wants to do it on 6/13 which is Lindsay's graduation. If not then, we will have to wait until July and I can't lift or strain myself for 6-8 weeks after it which will run me into my August vacation.

So I guess I'll just focus on thinking about the August vacation :sunny: and not think/deal with the other. :sad2:

Terry - good luck today with your doctor. :wizard: :wizard:

Tina - hope you start feeling better soon. :wizard: :wizard:

Darlene- how is Stan doing?

For everyone else, get well, stay well, and be well.

Bev

Good luck Bev
I had some female surgery (2 procedures) done right before Labor Day. We left for WDW Sept 30th
Hope all goes well

TINA - princess: Sandy loves to perform and I love watching her (with a lump in my throat!) Isn't it great to have a girl?

BEV - I'm so sorry to hear that you need surgery. And I hope you can make it all work out with your schedule. When the DR says no lifting, etc, please listen :listen: . Take care of yourself!

TERRY - Everything will be fine!! I will be thinking of you.
What dates are you in NJ this summer?
Stan is ok. Actually I spend a lot of time asking him how he feels. He doesn't look as well to me. He is scheduled for a CatScan tonight to see how things are healing inside. He sure hates to drink the prep stuff. Being laid off means he is getting more rest but he is also missing the daily activity and interaction of working everyday.

Poor SHIRLEY! I hope she heals quickly and fully.

See ya'll,
Darlene

Hey Everyone -

Just checking in after MONTHS of being away to say hello. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait for this cruise!!

Now, of course, I have to get caught up on all the happenings....oh joy, how many hundreds of pages do I need to go through? (Yes, I signed up for the newsletter).

Anyway, just wanted to say hello!

Howdy Scott, it was nice to hear from you again!!!

Darlene: ::yes:: it's great having a girl. She is nice and sweet. I am proud of both kids.

Bev: :grouphug: to you. Let us know when the surgery is. Your in my thoughts.

Terry: My doctor's appointment isn't untill June 7th. Chuck calls me alot to urge me to get it moved up. Just don't think I can and if it could be moved up I think they would have. I think I have the flu. Slept alot today. Going to pick Brooke up from dance soon then going back to bed.

Barb: Thanks.........What is Teppenyaki ? Happy you got your PS that you wanted. You guys did a great job in getting them. :Pinkbounc

Linda:Sorry to hear about your Grandmother. :grouphug: I know it's been a tough year for you. I hope things will turn better for you the rest of the year. :goodvibes :wizard:

Laura: My DD is 11 and I am glad she only wears make-up for the dance shows. She just LOVES dressing up and enjoys the costumes. I am still thinking about doing the Reas package. I will find out in 3 months if the price changes and if they offer any different things with it.

Marcotta: Welcome !

Andy: So are you doing the newsletter?? :rotfl: I want to sign up also. :teeth:

Doreen: Did you see on the T.V that President Bush was in our city today. Talk about your road closures. :earseek: It was interesting..........last time a president was here was 16 years ago. President Bush was only here 2 hours and it was quite the thing.

Have a great night everyone............More PD............. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I don't know anything about a newsletter.

Just thought of something, Scott this thread is for the August 2006 cruise, not the August 2005 Repo Cruise, I think that's the newsletter you signed up for, LOL!!!

Bev: I'm really sorry that you have to have surgery :( And for it to fall on Lindsay's graduation? :( :( Have you told her about that yet? I'm sure she'll understand, she seems like a great person :)

My doctor appointment wasn't today, it's on Thursday afternoon. I guess I'll found out when my surgery will be, after I meet with him. I think he's the same surgeon who did my gall bladder surgery a few years ago.

Darlene: I'll be in NJ from Thursday July 14th, till some time the following week. Maybe till the 21st. I don't have a set day that I plan to go home, yet. I can basically stay as long as I want, but John and Craig will be back here in MA, so I don't want to stay away too long. Then I'll be back at the end of August. I'm going to a Lakewood Blueclaws baseball game on Saturday, August 27th, so I will be down around that weekend, probably a few days before, and a few days after.

How did Stan make out with the scan tonight? Sometimes the prep for those tests are worse than the tests themselves :(

First let me add my hope that all who are seeing doctors soon that all works out ok, plenty of pixie dust to you all :wizard::wizard::wizard: ( Terry, Tina,Diane for you dd, Doreen for Marty, Bev, Darlene for Stan) and anyone I may have missed. :wizard::wizard::wizard:

Linda, I am sorry to hear about your grandmother. My Prayers go out to you and your family.

Andy, I hope your knee is feeling better, and I too was gonna to ask about what newsletter. Thought I missed something in the past couple of days.
Add my Pd to everyones else for Shirley.

Tina congrates on Brooke's performance, thanks for sharing the pictures.

Terry, Congrates on the baby ( grass blades that is) :rotfl2:

Wow sleep late one day around here and the board takes off :rotfl2:
Barb sounds like your PS are shaping up nicely, looks like you will be eating your way around the parks.

Glad the Trailsend ps have been worked out.

I still havent decided where to have out final night meal at the parks,
Any suggestions?

I am looking forward to this Aug trip, and to meeting some of you this summer. Now Im have fun planning the return trip home,
Looks like we will be driving the inland route back to CT via Skyline drive in VA. Taking a nice slow 4 day trip home.

Feel better all :wizard::wizard::wizard:

That's why I've been away so long, I've been working so much my brain is fried. I wondered why they had the wrong date listed! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :earboy2:

Enjoy 06!!!

Good morning
Yuck this cold rain has got to stop! Its like Dec around here - heat has been turned back on

Well at least its Wed so we're halfway through the work wk
Have a good day everyone

My understanding is Teppenyaki is like your local Benihanas' hibachi style restaurant. They give you a show cutting up your meat & veggies. Youre seated at a table of 8ppl.

Not sure about our last day PS. Tossup right now btwn Big River & Mama Melrose.

Barb: That sounds like a fun place. :cool1:

Andy: Sorry ...........the newsletter sounds like a neat idea. Any suggestions on going about doing one?

Here are the changes that are going to be done on the magic.............interesting.
"Dry Dock Changes

The President of the Cruise Line spoke this morning and talked about the following changes in Dry Dock:

The spa area will be remodelled and pushed all the way to the front of the ship and windows will look out over the front of the ship they will add special private rooms for couples massages.

THIS IS THE BEST
On the upper deck of the ship they are adding a jumbo tron type display so that they can show movies under the stars and also enhance the sailaway parties will be 24 feet wide and I think 15 feet tall.

The conference rooms are being eliminated and replaced with more childrens areas, they will be computer simulations and actually allow the kids to pretend to dock the ship.

On Castaway Cay they are adding swimming with the stingrays

More ships are coming as soon as the exchange rates are better

2007 should see new ports of call mainly from the United States, no plans yet for Hawaii or Foreign Ports.

Think that covers the highlights.

Off to see Don Ducky Williams now.

Tom and Diana"

OMG! Ed - Liz just told me you'll be on the Illuminations cruise with us Aug 21st! How cool is that? a cruise before The Cruise!

Tina - thanks for the DCL info. It would be nice to get Jon out of the room and movie theatre. He spent alot of time watching movies during our Nov 03 cruise. ahhhh - fresh air

Yes Barb,

I saw Liz's post yesterday looking for 3 , and we fit the bill so to say.:rotfl2:
I now have a wishes cruise to start our stay at WDW, and an IllumiNations cruise to end the trip.:cool1:

And lots of interesting items in between.
This is shaping up to be a fantasic trip this summer.

The changes for the Magic during Dry Dock sound very exciting!! :flower:

Thanks for asking about Stan. I was right...he doesn't look good. I could strangle him. The test showed some fluid in the abscess and they are doing an aspiration, possible drain, on the 1st. All the times I asked him how he was feeling he never told me he had a low grade fever! Boy is he in trouble with me. Why do men think they can just ignore things and they will go away or that they can handle everything all by themselves? I'm just mad because it scares me. :worried:

We should be able to take a day in July to meet up with you. That will be so fun! ANYONE ELSE?

Keeping you in thoughts and prayers.

Darlene

Darlene-- :grouphug: and :wizard: heading your way!!! I give you a  this Sunday as we travel down the Black Horse Pike on the way to my sisters.

WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!
where is everyone?

I need to get some warm sun! Had the heat back on, wearing my winter coat again.

Terry - pls let us know how the doc apt goes today
