Here's a little bit of happy news! I've been away from home for a week taking a course waaaaay up north. While I was gone, Steve completely cleaned and organized the basement. It looks like it did before we moved in here 14 years ago! What's more, I had three packages waiting for me -- magnets from Ed and Andy and t-shirst from Andy. They are all so lovely and have really put me in the mood for our cruise. Thanks guys!

Hello All
Another late night.......... I had an idea. I posted this on the photography thread. Maybe you guys can help me.

The one thing my MIL always wanted to do was see all the basball parks .
I would like to give that to her if I can. I will post a list of all the teams and city of where they are. I am not a baseball fan so I don't know that much about. I am looking for pictures of just the stadium. It's o.k if you have yourself standing in front of it. In fact she will know how many people did this for her. You can send them to my email then I will just print them off not fancy and I will put them all together for her. I will post this on the cruise board also. Thanks you, Tina

Hi Again,
Guess I should have thought this out more BEFORE I posted everywhere. It's the lack of sleep and trying to keep my mind busy. Please Disregard the above posts, this is not a drill.
The computer is a wonderful thing. I am able to google and find the stadiums and print them out on heavy card stock paper. I will make her a scrapbook and I WILL get it out this week. Thanks , Tina

GOOD MORNING DIS BOARDS>> boy am in the mood for good news now.
CHICAGO was great.. although it rained the first few hours in the big city.. we walked all over STATE and WABASH only to get big huge BLISTERS...

Drove to ST CHARLES to our RESORT.. it was so wonderful.. LS treated us like royalty.. We had a room in the TOWER..IT WAS SO NICE...The rest of my "family" for the week.... was around the corner down the hall.. through the atrium up the stairs and down another hall.. We had the whole nine yards.. One of my friends came to my suite and asked me for water.. I asked her if she wanted tap or bottle.. I opened the fridge.. and she said "YOU HAVE A FRIDGE AND A MICROWAVE"... oops,, did I say to much... The last day there I thought we were at the OSCARS>> They dined us so marvelously... the dining room was so amazing with the decorations..

Andy, sorry to hear of your family's tragedy. May you all find the peace to process everything that you have been through this year.

Doreen, glad that you had a good time. We just got back yesterday from the same hotel for DD's dance competition. She did O.K. There was some really tough competition. I'm still not used to young girls looking like ... well ... you can guess. Our studio is way more conservative. If not, the parents would revolt.

Andrew, sorry about team U.K. What happened to David Beckham? I watched part of the game, but he was out with some type of injury. Hopefully, it does not affect his soccer career.

David Beckham seemed to have a bad collision with another player, and hurst his leg badly, they wanted to take him off but he put his hand up to say hold on for five or so, but he is now 31 and hasnt perfomed his best.

The question is more what happened with Wayne Rooney, he lost his temper and made England play with 10 men, as we held them off for the rest of normal and extra time, if he had kept his cool, it might have been so different.

But Beckham did that to us before, when he was younger, but...

ANDY MURRAY is through at Wimbledon!!!!

Without going into full detail, I'm sorry to say that it doesn't look like I will be making the brunch at the Peter Pank Diner tomorrow, there is just too much family strife going on with my step-mother's passing the other day and I feel that I am needed here on the home front.

Doreen--I will get your t-shirts and Mary Rose--I will get your magnets out in the mail on Monday.

Please continue to keep my family in your thoughts and prayers, these are not happy days.
