Yipee! Last day of school!

My DS gets out of school today at 12:30, and then he and DH are heading down to VA Beach to visit family. They are coming home on Saturday, and when I was packing them up last night, I couldn't believe how much stuff they had! And these are the two males in the family! If they need to take that much stuff for a 4 day trip to the beach, how am I going to pack a family of 4 for a week plus! We are going to have to rent a truck just to get to the port. Thank goodness we decided to drive and not fly.

I see the boards have been very busy. 7000+ and growing! I'll see what I can do to help get us to 10,000 before the cruise.

Terry good luck on the job search, sounds like you are off to a rousing start.

And congrats to all with such talented children. It's a good reflection on the parents as well.

I ordered 4 T-shirts and one door magnet. This will make the third set of matching T-shirts we will have for this cruise.

My wife bought a set at a Disney store a couple weeks ago and I have a surprise for my family (actually many this trip). I am working on getting the "Twice The Magic" T-shirts so we can have them for our embarkation photo. Since they changed the backdrop I thought having those T-shirts would work real well, besides we can wear them during the cruise not after it is over.

Hi Friends,

I'm glad you still have plenty of time before you leave for your cruise. It's going to take me a little longer to get your shirts and door signs made. Hazel was on her way to pick me up from work and had a major accident with our car. To me the car looks totaled but we will find out for sure within the next few days.

Let's just say our little Dodge Neon is no match when it runs into a front end loader. Hazel is fine physically, but emotionally, she is a wreck. The front end loader was parked on the side of the road with the front end sticking out and Hazel clipped to bucket which caused the air bags to open up, causing Hazel to go off the side of the road and jump the curb. The front of the car and passenger side of the car is a total loss.

Luckily, Hazel had just dropped Angelina off at her friends house, so she wasn't in the car when the accident happened.

My boss let me bring my work car home for tonight, we will be leaving here shortly to go pick up a rental car. I'm hoping to get some pics of the car tomorrow when it will be delivered to the auto body shop near our house.

I tell you what, 2006 has not been very nice to us. Here's to better days ahead!!!

Oh Andy, I am so sorry for all life has been throwing at you lately, especially this latest incident. Thanks God Hazel is ok, I can relate to her emotional state - something similar happened to me where I wrote off my car in 1998. Please send her our best wishes and do not worry one bit about the t-shirts, magnets, etc. Not important at all when something like this happens.

I hope that she will be able to get over this sometime soon.

We just arrived home from picking up our rental car a few moniutes ago. I'm sure Hazel is going to feel the effects (stiffness) tomorrow, she is all scratched up from where the seatbelt was against her chest. We are so thankful no one was in the passenger seat as the passenger door window was completely blown out and there was little bits of glass all over the passenger seat.

We picked Angelina up from her friends house on the way home from picking up the rental car, mother and daughter are in the bedroom having a good cry and it's got me choked up, going to close for now, but all is well.

Hazel.... big hugs and pixe dust to you.. I have to agree with you about 2006 not being such a great year.. But than again 2004 wasnt either until we went on the cruise and met such wonderful friends in spite of the hurricaine. I have had my share of anguish as well.. I hope you are feeling better and so glad no one was physcially hurt although I know about the aches that a car accident can cause once the adreneline gets in and than come back to stablize...

Andy do not worry about the tshirts and magnats until you are able to do them...

You guys want to see a wonderful door magnet..I think ED and ANDY have STONG COMPETIONS...I was feeling a bet overwhelmed with my surgery, my daughters... just life in general.. so KAREN had SHIRLEY (DIZZYWORLD) made me up a care package. I am so sorry to hear about Hazel's accident. I know that feeling after an accident and it will take a bit to get over but thank God that there wasn't any injuries. I hope 2006 improves for you and your family.
