SeaSpray said:I just spoke to my niece. She told me that Olga's Diner is not very good. She recommended the Red Lion Diner instead. She said it's still right on Rt 70 (it's actually the corner of Rt 70 and 206. Is anyone familiar personally with either of these diners? Which do you prefer? They are only 15 minutes apart, so I don't think distance would be an issue.
Any thoughts? Opinions??
Here's the info for the Red Lion Diner:

Jerseylicious said:Yes Olga's ROTS! It has a weird smell and the food and service suck. The past 3 times I was there, it was horrible. The Red Lion is VERY very nice and good food too. ENJOY! Especially since no one invited ME!!!!!!!!! I should've kept my mouth shut and let you all eat at stank Olga's!!!!!!!!!!

I did do a little more research on Olga's online, and the reports I read didn't give very good marks for Olga's, it seems the place has been going downhill lately. I've never eaten there myself, after reading what I read tonight, I don't think I'd want to either.

SeaSpray said:Ok Andy. So should we officially change the meet to the Red Lion Diner??![]()
Verandah Man said:Yes, I would say so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SeaSpray said:Excellent research, Andy! Sounds like the Red Lion Diner is a good choice. I'm so glad I asked my niece about Olga's! LOL I thought I'd been to Olga's with her, but she said we'd been to the Red Lion. We do pass Olga's though, so that's why I got the two places confused.
P.S. A lot of diners have separate breakfast menus.
P.P.S. Would anyone rather meet for lunch instead of breakfast/brunch? I think either would be fine. What's better for all of you??
mickeymom923 said:Red Lion diner sounds good to me. 15 minutes extra to travel is not a problem for us. Remember, we travel 1 1/2 hours to go to Shady Maple near Lancaster for breakfast or lunch.
