hi,

Unfortunatey I won't be on this cruise after all. I had to cancel today as it conflicts with the first day of school next year (which I knew could be a possiblity). :(

Sorry to hear that you had to cancel this cruise Jennifer. :guilty:

Denna B-- I found the link for Costa Maya, here it is: http://www.puertocostamaya.com/eng/mayagetaway.cfm

Awesome job on the list!

The meet at the Radisson is a good idea. We have also had meets in the Promenade Lounge right after the Life Boat Drill, before the sail away deck party. That seems to work well.

I'm checking out the Fury Cataraman. Sounds like fun, especially if some of you guys are along!

MaryRose (O'BWV) was kind enough to email me back tonight as soon as she saw my email, and gave me her password so I can keep the cruisers list updated.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, MARYROSE, for trusting me with your password! I promise I'll take good care of it! :teeth:

She wanted me to let you all know that she's been extremely busy, and she and her family are well, but they're dealing with an extended-family situation that is taking a lot of their time and attention. She said to let you all know that she will be back, as soon as things settle down. :)

Hi Darlene--we did that on our first cruise, and the time seemed so rushed, I didn't get to meet half the people that were there. We wanted to get a group photo, but there just wasn't the time, and we didn't have any other group meets planned, except for a Palo Brunch, but we only had 14 people signed up for that.

If anyone needs their name added, deleted, or other info changed, please send me a PM or EMAIL, and I'll make the changes on Page 1. :)

Also, if you want the name of the hotel/resort where you'll be staying the night before the cruise to be added to your listing, give me that info as well.

A lot of us are planning on staying at the Radisson at the Port the night before, and we'll have a pre-cruise meet that night :)

I can also list excursions, and list the people who are interested on going on them *together*. From experience, it's a lot of fun being on an excursion with other DISers! :teeth:

If there is any other general info that anyone thinks should be posted on Page 1, please let me know.

Thanks! :sunny:

Hi Everyone! I just got back from a quick cruise with my sisters on Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas. :rolleyes1 Even though it wasn't Disney...it was still a lot of fun. It's one of their older/smaller ships, but I thought it was great.

Anyway....wanted to welcome new cruisers & thank Terry & Andy for doing so much work on getting us updated. I know it's a lot of work, but is very much appreciated.

I have no idea what we are doing for August yet. We might drive, go by train, or fly. :confused3 We are also thinking of staying at the Holiday Inn Cocoa Beach for a few days before the cruise but I did want to meet up with everyone. Do you think it would be a problem to stop by even if we aren't staying there? Of course we could always switch hotels the last night. Decisions Decisions!

Hope all is well!
Diane

Thanks for the info on excursions Verandah Man, they looked interesting. I think booking an excursion with a group would be a great idea. I've also seen many groups have their group picture taken in the atrium by a photographer from Shutters. Is anyone else spending any time at WDW before or after the cruise? We decided to rent a house for the week prior to the cruise and then move over to the Radisson on Friday night.

Andy & Terry, thanks for your work :goodvibes It's looking good!!

We fly into Florida 2 days before the cruise and are spending both nights at the Radisson (booked already).

After the cruise, we have 5 nights at WDW and are currently booked for a studio at Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. I'm hoping to switch to a bedroom at Old Key West, though :goodvibes if you wouldn't mind keeping your fingers crossed for me!

You're welcome, regarding updating the main page :)

Welcome back, Diane! I'm glad you had a great cruise :sunny:

Incase you haven't seen this pic on the main cruise forum board, below is a pic on the Magic on 10-11-05 still in Norfolk, VA. The bright spot in the middle of the photo is the new giant screen that was just installed to the back of the forward stack. Movies under the stars, how nice is that going to be while at sea.

Terry - thanks for updating the first page. We are staying at the Radisson the night before the cruise and spending the week after the cruise at a timeshare in Kissimmee. We'll be using a limo company that we used in August to take us from the airport to the Radisson. If anyone's interested in sharing/renting a limo, let me know and I can get some good rates.

I still have rooms available at the Radisson that I blocked for the night before.

Just trying to help my DIS friends.

Bev--I have a question for you about the shuttle service from the Radisson to the port. Will you also be setting that up for our group, or will we have to do that ourselves?

I can do the shuttle service also. I already used and spoke to the owner of the limo service. Just let me know.

Have a great day.

Bev

Terry, awesome job on the list!

Diane, welcome back glad you had a good time. Of course you can stop by the Radisson. We would miss you if you didn't!

Darlene

Yes they do. When I did the Carnival Glory this past August, while waiting for the limo to pick us up, there seemed to be Radisson shuttles arriving about every 15 minutes.

Page 1 has been updated with 2 new families! WELCOME TO Scratch42 and family and Genzie and family!! :grouphug:

Also, I've added color to my name and to MaryRose's name. I chose green for them because they're Irish! :teeth: And light blue to go with my "sea spray" name. lol

If you'd like your name to be in color, send me (SeaSpray!) a PM or email, tell me your user name and what color you'd like! :)

I tried to add smilies to next to our names but it put the post over the limit so I had to delete them  So I figure having our names in color is the next best thing. Can you tell that I like color??(look at my signature. LOL)

Hope you all like this idea :flower:

OOPS! I am still on as MaryRose! Send your color requests to me, SeaSpray! :earboy2:
