Rehab. I also called Disney Reservations and was told the same thing. We are going Apr 26-May 4 and the whole reason we are staying at the CSR is because of the Dig Site for my children. I am also using a AAA discount. What do I do? If I wait and the rehab dates come out around when we will be there how can I guarentee another resort with a AAA discount?:confused3

We arrive March 3rd and I was VERY shocked to see the notice about the Dig Site. From what you were told... well... who knows.

Oh well, I'm crossing fingers and toes! :confused3

We're also booked at CSR for April 26th - May 4th...my kids will be heartbroken if the Dig Site is closed!

Where is everyone hearing about this rumour? I haven't been able to find it listed anywhere. I would be surprised if the Dig Site was closed for very long since they already have the main pool at CBR out of commission for most of this year...(at least, that's what I'm hoping:guilty: )

Hi Heather. It's posted on the DISboard homepage in the news items at the top. Click the "Pool Refurb List Grows" link and scroll down to CSR.

I can't find anything regarding this on any other Disney site. I don't know if this is really scheduled or not. Could be a false alarm.

I sure hope so!!!!!!!!! :scared1:

I just spoke to the woman who handles all of our Disney reservations and she indicates that all Disney has told them is "early" 2008 for the Dig Site renovations. She promised to let me know as soon as she hears something more about that and the room rehabs (she and I are in touch at least twice a month).

Is there another resort that has something similar to the dig site? If so and the CSR's dig site is closed then maybe you can request to be moved. I'm pretty sure I have read here that people have been moved sometimes when pools were closed.

I say book your trip with AAA now for the CSR. If and when the rehab is posted then call CRO and see if anything can be done for you. If they can't maybe can take a day trip over to one of the deluxe hotels and play on the beach.

Good luck and have a great trip!
