Call Me CRAZY!!!!!!!

I am there too...

I have been trying to convince my husband to let me plan a trip for all five of us, we have a 20 year old daughter, 17 and 13 yr. old sons.
I have planned and cancelled 3 trips since 2002 because no one wants to go, they want to go to the beach. So we go to the beach every year, but I still am trying to convince him that we would all love it. The last time we all went as a family was 1996, we stayed offsite and went with his parents and siblings with their kids. It was fun but I now know so much more (thanks to these boards) that I know we would have a fantastic trip. So...I cannot get off of these boards either.

He finally told me to go this past Feb. with my sister, (which I did) thinking it would cure me of this obsession. Well.....it has only fueled my fire!!

My latest plan is to go this summer when my daughter get home from college and after my oldest son graduates, maybe late June.

We are actually having a family meeting Sat. (when my daughter comes home for Spring break) to decide where we are going this year.

Wish me luck!!
Linda

It's never over and done with, after this year i will not be returning to disney for 5 years-planning a pregnancy in
Dec. and i won't go to disney without my children and i won't take the next child while still a baby so we will go back when he or she is 4 and i am excited about going 5 years from now, it's never over

HappyLawyer, I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but I have to admit one of the best trips I ever took to WDW was last year when DS just turned One, (DD was then 4.5 yrs). WDW with toddlers is hsyterical, in a good way. Sorry to hear you won't be back for that long.

actually it is a very unselfhish thing we do, i mean ignoring many other things to ensure our families have the best and most enjoyable vacation possible,

LOL! That's what I tell my family, too. My husband, however, is a skeptic. :p

Look at my counter and you tell me if there are any others out there like you!!  I still have 2 years before we go and I visit the DIS everyday!
I do like seeing my counter though. It used to read over 970 some days when I first did it, so I've come a looooooooooong way baby!

Here all the time, counting down the days, not too long now, and can't imagine what happens after!:earsgirl:

I can tell you what happens next, you plan for the next one.

Don't feel bad at ALL!! Its addictive but its a good addiction. My DH finally had to register on the board himself to see what I was up to all day at work! LOL

I love this site! I have never gotten so much information about DISNEY.

I'm going through withdrawal......it's painful. We aren't going back for a really long time..... but I do have an AP burning a hole in my pocket.....somebody.... help..... anybody? Maybe this isn't the place to ask for withdrawal help??????????

Well, I'm not going to be any help to you--my solution for an AP in your pocket is to suggest that you go again before it expires. That would save you money, right? Because you wouldn't have to pay for tickets this time, and you'd get more use out of your AP, plus you'd get discounts on rooms and restaurants. :sunny:

No, no, don't thank me, I live to give advice...:sunny:

My name is Kimberly and I am addicted. I am on here more then I am online doing college homework. I say to myself, Oh I will just hope on for a minute which I know is a lie. I am on here at least an hour a day.

Thank God my husband doesnt pay much attention when I am on the computer. He just believes I am a very dedicated student. Little does he know I am more of a Disney Student!:hyper:

Hi Crazy
Ive been going to school full time this past year. My DD planned this trip for me ( and our two DS) for my graduation. All winter when I felt depressed from doing home work I would come online and read all the messages..I swear it got me through the year!
Only 3 weeks til Im finished school and then to CBR the last week in April!!!:earsgirl: :Pinkbounc

Me too. My family is not traveling until December and I am at work right now thinking of Disney. I think we all must have a diagnoseable condition, a good condition, but a condition none the less. I am addicted to the boards. :hyper:

Everyday I check this website. I have been to WDW many many times and you would think I would know enough about the parks, and it always surprises me how much I learn everyday.

i am glad to see this topic is still hot, these months are flying by
