Call daily for 08 Easter Vacation??

Just wondering if I should call daily for 8 nights at Easter 08? Or should I just wait until the last day to do whole trip? Need a 2BDR at my home SSr and 2bdr at BWV. Also, if we decide to change from one of the resorts to BCV, would we be able to transfer our points from one of these ressies? Thanks.

I called today for my first night at BCV for Easter 08. I think it is a good idea to start now since Spring Break and Easter are at the same time. MS told me they would then link each of my days together under one confirmation number.

I would call daily, just to try to assure you get what you want. You can always try to change from the first resort at 7 months out to another resort that is not one of your home resorts, but I would do that on the last day of your reservation at the 7 month window and last day of your stay, because I would hate to have to split my stays to 2 different resorts because one of the days was not available at 7 months out. goodluck.

I just did a poll on another forum to survey when schools had vactions in the Feb/Mar/Apr timeframe. Easter week (the week after Easter) was the winner (25%) with the week before Easter and President's week following close behind (20%). Three weeks in the middle of April were about equally as popular (13-16%).

I was wondering this since our school is not having their break during Easter but in April and I was curious what the early Easter date does to the crowd level.

You do NOT need to call day by day to get a 2 bedroom reservation at SSR.

If you want either a standard view 2 bedroom or a guaranteed Boardwalk view 2 bedroom at the BWV, you need to call day by day.

If you want a Pool/Garden view 2 bedroom at the BWV, you do NOT need to call day by day.

I assumed you owned at both resorts and have thus have the hoe resort booking advantage for both places.

Thank you for the info! I was wondering about this myself. My 50th birthday is March 19 next year and I am definitely spending it at WDW. It just happens to be the week before Easter though, a week I would normally avoid like the plague. From your survey, it seems like school vacations are spread more evenly than I'd have guessed. I'm glad! Maybe it won't be as crowded as I feared!
