California Screamin' for a 6 year old - Screamin' fun or Screamin' 'Lemme off?!?'

Every time I read Sun Wheel of death I crack up. I love that name. Kinda wish they'd call it that. :rotfl:

Isn't it going to be turned into the "Mickey Wheel of Death" when they take it down for rehab this fall? No more sun, big giant Mickey head..... and death.....:rotfl2:

I really hope my kids will be okay with doing stuff like Screamin. I, unfortunately have the mild fear of "what if" and that completely irrational falling fear thing. I won't be the one to experience it with them when they are ready... That's the ironic part. I'm fascinated, but just can pull above my own fears. Sucks being an older parent of small children, too. By the time they are really ready to score out on their own, age related issues prevent you from enjoying it to the fullest!

PS - I do ride SM and Rock n Roller Coaster, so I'm not completely a wuss.....

The first time we went to DL with the girls DD8 was 6. She rode everything...she even rode ToT when her older sister and I wouldn't! LOL She's fearless, she rode Maliboomer our trip just last month too...LOL But her older sis and I wouldn't. DD12 and I don't like that one at all......

Anyway, DD8 (6 at the time) loved CS!!!! She thought it was the BEST ever and now she loves it even more....just don't push her, let her decide on her own if she wants to do it. It's very smooth, the smoothest coaster I've ever been on really. It's tons of fun but we never push our kids into any rides, if they want to do it we let them, that's why DD8 went on Maliboomer last month.....while DD12 and I watched her and DBF....LOL

Wow - my 7yo is too short for Indy :faint: She will probably be 12 until she can ride it :lmao:

We took our 4 year old (to be exact 4yr 1mo) son on it. He enjoyed the beginning but the longer the ride was the more anxious he became. He hung on tight to me the whole ride. Children have a harder time trying to figure out that things are "fake" because they have such creative imaginations. In the end he loved it and said he wanted to go again. This was his first "big" ride so overall I thought he did well. :thumbsup2
