California Grille 7PM or 9 PM Reservations for 9PM Wishes???

Would you choose 7PM or 9PM reservations at the California Grille for the Wishes fireworks show??? We chose 9PM but I'm second guessing myself now...reservation is for 2 adults. Thanks for your help!

I'd do 7pm. I have found that most restaurants run a little behind and we're rarely seated right on our reservation time. Since the fireworks are at 9pm, they may be waiting to seat you at a table of people who are hanging around waiting for the fireworks to be over.

Better to be safe than sorry!

I personally would do 7pm also. I agree that sometimes they run behind. Plus I do not like to be eating during wishes. I like to be at dessert, coffee or a after dinner/ drink glass of wine. Sometimes we watch it from our seats, sometimes we take the drink on the balcony.

I ate at California Grill at 9:00 pm in order to see wishes and it was great. We told the people when we checked in and they said when we got seated to let the waiter know that we wanted to see wishes and they would work our dinner around the fire works. We ordered our drinks and outside on the walk way and watch the fireworks. It is absolutely the best view and a great chance for my husband and I to have a nice quite meal without our DD.
