California Grill or Top of the World Lounge for MK fireworks?

We have a 9:10 pm reservations for California Grill on a night when Wishes is scheduled for 10 pm. We ate at CG once a few years ago (prior to the refurb) and had an amazing table with a great view of wishes. Fast forward a few years and we are now DVC owners staying at BLT next trip so we could view fireworks from the TOWL instead. Which would you choose and why? (CG or TOWL for MK fireworks?)

I would stay with the Cali Grill, since you have a reservation there. You are a little more away from the side of the castle at Cali Grill, and I think the view is a bit better.

I am a big fan of seeing the fireworks from TOTW, but with a dinner at Cali Grill, that's where I would stay.

Agree. Since you've already made a reservation at CG and are willing to take on that cost, then stay with it. Otherwise, I'd say TOWL as it's far less expensive, though the views aren't quite as good. . .though close.

I have done both and like both options. To me, the deciding factor should be whether you want to eat at CG. If you do, then enjoy your reservation. If you don't really care if you eat there, then save the money, have drinks and apps-- or nothing at all-- and visit the BLT lounge.

You would be hard pressed to finish your 9:10 dinner reservation and get to TOTW by 10:00. Relax and enjoy your meal and a cocktail, the view is the same. Even better at cali of you get a window seat facing MK

There's no real food only very good appetizers at totwl. If you want to eat at cg do so, and enjoy fireworks there.... otherwise the view at totwl is just as good IMO.... maybe better bc they have an outside deck if it's warm enough to go out there.

CG has deck as well, you can take your drinks out and they will cover your food until you come back in.
