California Grill on New Year's Eve

A very Disney wise friend of mine said that they close the California Grill down for New Year's Eve and have a party from 8 until 1. She said it is 450 a person and they don't open the restaurant that night??????? I hope not ....has anyone else heard of this????? Help because my over planning needs help because my DH and I are going solo and wanted to eat there for New Years (if i could get ADRS)
 
It's true, at least last year. Only $900 for 2 :)

NEW YEAR'S 2008 CALIFORNIA GRILL

December 31, 2008 - 8:00pm til midnight (check in on the 2nd Floor between 8:00 and 8:20pm)

$450 per person (all ages)

Tax and gratuity included

Open Bar throughout the event

This event is semi-formal with jackets required for the gentlemen. Mickey and Minnie visit during the celebration and there's live entertainment.

Selection Boutique Caviars with Traditional Garnishes, Rustic Pork Pâte and Charcuterie with Pistachios, Pickles and Grilled Sourdough Bread

Serrano Ham with Marinated Piquillo Peppers and Black Olive Crostinis
Winter Market Salad with Candied Walnuts, Apples, Blue Cheese and Cranberry Dressing

Belgium Endives with Dungeness Crab, Meyer Lemon, Pomegranate and Micro Greens

Goat Cheese Terrine with Marinated Baby Beets, Arugula and SherryVinaigrette
Terrine of Hudson Valley Foie Gras with Salad of Haricot Verts and Brioche

Chilled Maine Lobster with Citrus Vinaigrette and Chiffonade Bibb Lettuce
