Has anyone dined here with covid going on? Did the tables seem spread out enough? Anything else that make you feel safe or not safe?

Great question and we were wondering the same. We watched a few vlogs last night and it looks that they have removed quite a few tables and they seemed to be doing a great job. Can't wait to go there at the end of the month.

Disney has been doing a wonderful job; in the parks, on transportation, in the resorts, in the lines, on the rides, outdoor dining, indoor dining. The only times we felt wary was walking around in the general areas of the parks. Kind of impossible to fully control where and how people walk and how close they get to each other.

We felt very safe in all the restaurants. Garden Grill was no exception. The tables are spread out, the servers are in masks and stay a reasonable distance.

Haven’t been since July when it opened so I can’t vouch if things have changed, but I thought spacing was among the best I’ve seen in the real world and WDW. I’m frankly a little leery of indoor dining, generally speaking, but I felt very comfortable at CG.

Meal was fantastic, BTW!

We were there in Sept and felt very comfortable. Our server was wearing a mask and shield and at that time tables were spaced far apart.

We were there during our Oct 12-17 trip and the tables are spaced farther apart and the staff do wear a mask and face shield - it was the first time we've eaten there when we didnt have to wait and wait for our table - literally checked in and they sent us up ALONE in our own elevator...which was different..

The menu was reduced, but it looks like they have added a few more items back to it - like the goat cheese ravioli which my DH was missing!!

We had no issues at any of the TS restaurants during our stay and we ate a quite a few!

We went in late Aug / early Sept - tables are definitely spaced out. My only gripe is we ALWAYS get stuck with a table right at the entrance which of course is the main walkway. I didn't feel less safe but would much rather be tucked against a window.

We ate there on Halloween and had a great window table a good 8-10 feet from the next one over. As Avery&Todd said, each party gets its own elevator - we had to wait about 4-5 minutes when leaving as there was a line.
