Lots of folks always asking if they can just go on up and sit at the bar/lounge, have a drink and watch the fireworks. And the answer is "maybe--maybe not".
This trip I decided to just count the seats at the bar--just 18 of them. And I counted just 8 very small, very low tables in the so-called lounge.
We arrived at just after 5-all lounge tables were open and just 2 other folks at the bar. When we left at 7:15, there were only 2 seats left open at the bar and 5 of the 8 tables were taken. And the fireworks were still almost 3 hours away.
So you COULD get lucky around fireworks time but most likely you won't.
