California Grill and Wishes?

hello, I have ps for CG on Dec 4 @ 7:20 and I see that Wishes is scheduled for 9 pm. Being its our first time i'm not sure if I'm okay with my PS or if I should change my PS or forego CG and just stay at MK throughout the evening. Advice please, TIA!

This time we checked in for dinner on the 3rd (?) floor and this is about 3 months old, according to the host, since they had too many looky-loos at fireworks time.

We were seated on the opposite side of the building from MK, so I don't know if you can request closer to. (This was a special occaision, and the staff knew about it in advance, so it may not be possible) There is a lounge area nearest MK, and it was pretty full around 8pm when we left.

We took the monorail back to MK, and 3yo had to ride Pooh for the 50th time so we went to Fantasyland and rode Pooh and Dumbo with zero line. Wishes started right when we were on Dumbo, so we watched from the Fantasyland side. View there is a little different and interesting if you've seen wishes before, but not for the first time (We saw it every night this trip, either from MK or from Ohana or Narcoosee's)

If you are going to the CG just to see the fireworks from the restaurant, why???

The food is very expensive. Some of it is very good..most mediocre. The fireworks are so much better from mainstreet in the MK. When watching from CG....the fireworks appear to be off to one side...so the castle/fireworks are not aligned like they are if you watch from mainstreet.

7:20 is a good time. You will have appetizer, main course and dessert in order to be able to sit there that long.
